ok, thanks for all your help once again
Still a bit confused though, cn't seem to figure out how to sign up to these servers and have tried to make a connection with no username and password using Port 119 (see attached image) but can't figure out how to access or seacrh any content.

cool, thanks shoo, well will try and have a look at the trial one over the next week or so By binaries do you mean, movies, music, programs etc? The free ones generally don't have this content?

thanks again, what are the differences between the free and commercial ones? Do they all link into the same content or does each have its own stand alone content?

I'm quite new to Usenet, in fact I still havent used it yet so please excuse my ignorance. In the server configuration tab, what do I enter in the different fields (host, Port, etc)? Is there a list of servers somewhere that I can sign up to? Are any ones recommended better than others for different...
