Re: Remote / Web Access keeps hanging / crashing
I have the same issue on the same setup (mini 2011), First I thought it was the IP indeed that changed with the update but changing that back to 0.0.0.0 did not change. Even rebooting the system hangs on a grey screen.. It is definitely related to SABNZBD because the system runs stabile without SAB...

Remote / Web Access keeps hanging / crashing
I have SABNZBD 0.7.6b1 installed on my 2011 Mac Mini w/ 10.8.2. As a whole everything is working fine with exception of accessing it remotely, after a few hours or days... Here's the behavior... Run sabnzbd, everything looks fine and works fine but then at some point, usually within a day or two, I ...

Re: speeding up unrar?
unrar is almost entirely disk-bound. fastest way to speed it up is to use faster disks. if you can, separate the source drive from the destination drive (separate physical disks). i download to my SSD and unpack to a regular 7200rpm disk connected on firewire-800. things that used to take 10 minute...

speeding up unrar?
hi... the unrar'ing of HD files still seems to be the biggest slowdown for my setups... I am on OS X... I did a little research and it seems I should have yenc-0.3 installed... any way to ensure i do... and anything else i should be / could be doing?
thanks!
thanks!

No menu bar icon for the last few versions...
Running Lion 10.7
Running SABNZBD 0.6.8
for the last few versions, and def since i upgraded to Lion, I can't get the menu bar SABNZBD icon to show up.
i googled around but apparently this has been fixed for most people but not for me for some reason.
any suggestions?

Re: Any way to stop unpacking/unparing/etc?
Definitely didn't change the default unpack_check option. Let me know how else I can be helpful. Probably because Windows doesn't give a return code that indicates trouble. I would need to check this further. BTW: did you turn off the "unpack_check" option (see here: http://wiki.sabnzbd.or...

Re: Any way to stop unpacking/unparing/etc?
Ok, so I did as discussed and killed the UNRAR process from the Activity Monitor on OS X... however...the jobs are marked as completed and not failed. This is also on the 6.0RC1... any idea why these wouldn't be marked as failed?

Re: Any way to stop unpacking/unparing/etc?
Cool! Glad you were able to find another bug, even if I wasn't able to create it directly. :-)
Will try the next beta.

Re: Any way to stop unpacking/unparing/etc?
So I can kill the process running in osx and it won't delete the files? Where do I retry the post processing? thanks! Pausing is technically impossible, so we cannot offer that option. So far the only thing you can do is kill the par2 or unrar process. It will mean a failed download, although with 0...

Any way to stop unpacking/unparing/etc?
Sometimes when unparring very large files, I'd like to pause the process while watching a movie, etc. Is there any way to do this? It even seems that when quitting sabnzdb, it won't quit till the process is done.
Thanks!
Thanks!
