I was running 0.4.12 running as a service before the upgrade. Stop the service from the management panel then ran the setup exe. When installation was finished I left the "Run sadnzbd" option checked.
All other settings survived.
Running Server 2003.

Re: 0.5.0-B3 Windows Folder location error
Disregard comment about service. But B3 still made folders in the root of C:/ for some reason.

How To: New TVBINZ RSS
For those of you who don't know, tvbinz.net went private a short time ago. (see thread on this forum) Anyway this is how to get rss working again in sabnzbd. 1. join irc channel with correct key. 2. learn how to sign up for an account in the irc channel. 3. log into the site with your shinny new log...

Allow deletion of failed downloads in web app
Not sure if this is in or not.. did not find a way in current plush.
Add button to delete failed downloads, such as CRC or not enough par2, in web app. Would also delete from history and delete nzb backup (if specified).

Re: Rss Help
How do you feel about adding this link in the rss section of the wiki? http://www.developer.com/lang/article.php/3330231 It explains the general concepts of regex much better than the python docs and might result in smarter users

Re: Rss Help
Correct, but currently it would also download the National Geographic show since it has CSI in the title. But theoretically i would only want the crime drama series. Usually its not a huge problem, so I wouldn't put it high on the priority list. I guess the best solution would be to find a good RegE...

Re: Rss Help
It works in much the same way as Windows search. More of an is equal to than an is like. Example: You have a list of files: CSI.S09E01.720p.x264.HDTV CSI.S09E01.HDTV CSI.Miami.S07E01.720p.x264.HDTV CSI.Miami.S07E01.HDTV CSI.New.York.S05E01.720p.x264.HDTV CSI.New.York.S05E01.HDTV National.Geographic....

Re: Rss Help
I think the original issue really comes down to having a better RSS feed then he is currently using. As for filtering goes, I would like to boost up the AltBinz technique mentioned elsewhere on the forums. Although there would still be issues for eps that groups release with underscores and not peri...

Re: [RSS] Repack / ReRip / Dirfixes should override old ones
But why not automatically delete the propered release? If I switch to tvbinz.net I'd had to set up filtering again. I have become reliant on http://mytvnzb.foechoer.be. It's so much easier to click check boxes than to type in filter patterns. Maybe I could interest him in putting up a tvbinz.net one...

Re: [RSS] Repack / ReRip / Dirfixes should override old ones
I suggest a proper engine. So if a proper comes out, of a TV show for instance (happen more than it should), instead of added .x to the filename, why not just replace it? The process would repeat if a real, extra super real, final im gonna kill you next time you suck at cappin a show proper, etc. Th...
