Re: newznab - open source usenet indexer and all round nzbs.
@Nick123 Probably due to a 'newer' php/pear version installed mine is PHP 5.4.8 and PEAR Version: 1.9.4 In every function in the files: lib/binaries.php lib/nntp.php lib/backfill.php the PEAR::isError() has to replaced with: $pear = new PEAR(); if($pear->isError()) ... in others: $pear = new PEAR();...

Re: newznab - open source usenet indexer and all round nzbs.
I use the api/rss feature to connect my newznab with sabnzbd. BUT you have to use an api key generated through newznab. My nzb-url looks like this: [http://localhost/getnzb/iwantthis.nzb&i=1&r=myapikey] I don't use sickbeard and/or CP and I didn't need to edit my .htaccess file for this... P...

Re: newznab - open source usenet indexer and all round nzbs.
@tymanthius... I currently use the free newznab version. I check four groups every half hour and have a 4 day 'retention'. The database is around 6.5 G... But that's my setup... I blacklisted a couple of things as well. With the included api I was able to create a rss-feed for sabnzbd and grab the s...

Re: [REQ] Multiple Scan Folders
That is the case when you save your NZB files in the browser's default download dir... But if you use linux and associate this bash script with NZB files in your browser... (Preferences->Applications->NZB file) You can save your NZB files directly in your dropbox folder instead of the default downlo...

Re: Remote nzb loading
You could use something like 'dropbox'. On your server create a dropbox folder that is also the watched folder in sabnzbd There's a firefox script that saves nzb's to a certain folder. On your remote computer make that the dropbox folder. If you save a nzb-file it's automatically send to the server ...

Re: Using Php Scripts
.: Example :.
Create a file (myscript.php) with the following:
#!/usr/bin/php
Make sure /usr/bin/php is the right path to the php cli.
Save it and make this script executable.
And run it from the command line: i.e. ./myscript.php
Good luck

I.e. : linux server with sabnzb+ and dropbox installed and a (remote) windows xp client with dropbox installed I have created a folder called NZB in Dropbox and shared it between the 2 computers. I have configured sabnzb+ on the server to pol...
