Re: Free Usenet Access - 1 Week - 200 Days Retention
$4/month for "200 days retention, unlimted download, 20 connections" sounds too good to be true. Anyone tried them before? I am currently on astraweb's $11/month deal, and paying 1/3 of that for the same service wouldn't bother me :) Look closely, their plans have speed limits. Hence why ...

Free Usenet Access - 1 Week - 200 Days Retention
We just turned on a new bank of servers and are hoping to push 10-20 gigabits of test traffic this week. These servers have 200 days of articles, both binaries and text. Please give us a hand by testing things out - The server is: stresstest.cheapernews.com No username/password is required. SSL is...

Re: Best Value Provider
Actually, Astraweb was at 200 days last time I checked. It's going up right now, articles will not expire until they reach 270 days. So we have about 70 days to waitinpheaux wrote: Astraweb - ~190 days of retention (eventually growing to 270, but we don't know when), SSL, great completion, $11/mo.

Anyone got a mirror for this? I'd like to try it but the original link no longer works.

Re: Newsgroup Provider
That's great pricing regardless. I might check them out just to see, hows the speed? I read somewhere that the service wasn't great, but I haven't heard back from NG in a few days either, although my speeds for most of today have been rock solid. I tried the reverse traceroute today, was pretty sol...

Re: Newsgroup Provider
Seeing as you have poor download speeds you need to do a reverse traceroute. You can do this here: http://www.newshosting.com/en/newshosting-usenet-tech-support-reverse-trace.php If you traceroute the server yourself then it's just showing the route it would take if you were uploading ;) If it is a ...

No download ETA?
Hi,
Unless I'm very dumb and am missing something, SABnzbd does not tell you how long is left on you're downloads! Well, 0.4.5 doesn't anyway. This is pretty stupid, seeing as its pretty much a major thing.
Using default theme.
