Re: SABNZBD+ Frequently stalls on checking
Hi
unfortunately this doesn't seem completely fixed. had a stall on checking again today. strangely it was in the 70-80% range, not the 99% I've seen previously.
cheers

problem with pre check and abort if can't be completed?
I've always used "abort if cannot be completed" and believed sab when it said something could not be completed. yesterday having failed to download something around 100 days old I thought I'd try "NZB completion checker" on various versions of the thing I wanted to see just which...

Re: Server Nicknames
as for the order of servers, I suspect they are presented in the order that the appear in the ini file. backup the ini file and then rearrange them within the file to change the order

Re: Server Nicknames
as a workaround, you could always give your servers "dns" aliases. If you nslookup ssl-us-news.provider.tld and find its IP address, you can then put that ip address under the name 01provUS100gb.com by putting it in your hosts file. obviously this will break if your provider changes ip add...

Re: running server on Android
ok, I was simplifying rather than going into the gory details. Yes I'm with Three. I've not run into the limit yet, because I'm on the unlimited tethering package that your article says was not being touched - however they contacted me and said that they are terminating my unlimited contract in Janu...

I have tried, yes.
Seems there's several ways they can detect it. Check this out http://android.stackexchange.com/questi ... fi-hotspot

Re: running server on Android
they detect when data is coming from a tethered device and then when it reaches 2GB, block further transfers from such devices. they can also detect what kind of device you have your SIM in and block if it's not a phone. I had a WiBE http://www.deltenna.com/products/wibe.aspx which worked for a whil...

running server on Android
Has any clever person got sabnzbd running under Android? It might seem like a weird thing to want, but I get 4x the throughput on my phone as I do on my broadband and I have an unlimited data contract. Unfortunately my tethering is limited to 2GB. Running sabnzbd on my phone would be excellent. Anyo...

Re: Loose Sorting of Files in Folder
I wouldn't recommend putting everything in the same folder, because you get all sorts of extra files and working out which belongs to which download would be nigh on impossible. I would recommend you just write a little script that moves them from the individual folder to their final destination. ...

Re: How to transfer downloads in progress from one machine to another
yes you can. you need to secure the sab directory; which includes your config and the cache directory if you have specified an alternate location for that. I believe if you haven't changed the default, this is all in the same directory.
