Change the Default Base Folder?
I run SABnzdb v.4.1.0 on MX Linux v.23. I'm wondering how I may change the Default Base Folder. I couldn't find a setting for it.

Re: History shows proper filename, but not so in directory
Thank you for the information, but does it explain why the same name show downloaded from two different indexers is renamed properly in one case, but not the other?

Re: History shows proper filename, but not so in directory
I'll do as you ask, but in the meantime I noticed that if I download the same file from NzbPlanet and NzbGeek the first one is properly dealt in the download directory whereas the second one results in the string of characters as I described. Also the first one is downloaded outside (one level above...

History shows proper filename, but not so in directory
I face this strange situation with a few downloads: History in SABnzbd shows the (expected) proper filename of the download, but in the actual download directory the filename is a series of characters, for example 9b85b8d91e064145b76b3e5875b85f7f.mkv. Is there a way to fix this so that the filename ...

Re: Warning about API key missing
Thank you for pointing me in that direction. I read the documentation, but I'm still confused because everything has worked with no problem until very recently. I have the SABnzbd API in Sonarr's download clients. Test is OK I also have SABnzbd's API in NZBHydra2's Config --> Downloading --> Downloa...

Warning about API key missing
After recent updates to SABnzbd I get a series of messages upon starting the program stating "WARNING a minute ago API key missing, please enter the API key from Config->General into your 3rd party program: 127.0.0.1 [Sonarr/3.0.6.1342 (windows 10.0.22000.0)]" The time "a minute ago&q...

Re: Cannot get downloads in the correct sub-directory (and no subs)
SABnzbd supports Category-watched folders, so if you put them in a subfolder "movies" inside your Watched Folder, it will understand it's part of that category. Your reply was exceedingly useful, because now I understand what I'm supposed to do with SABnzbd! With NZBGet all NZBs are downl...

Re: Cannot get downloads in the correct sub-directory (and no subs)
Thank you very much for your reply. I looked at the particular NZBs that I was using and I did not see any TV category-tag in them. That should explain why the downloaded files were not sorted to the appropriate sub-directory. Anyway, I'll do some further testing with SABnzbd since by using the same...

Re: Cannot get downloads in the correct sub-directory (and no subs)
But indeed you should use the Categories, and just keep the TV Sorting disabled. Did that work? Unfortunately it didn't work with TV Sorting either disabled or enabled. It must be a simple reason why this doesn't work, but I can't figure it out. By the way, I installed SABnzbd using the installer, ...

Re: Cannot get downloads in the correct sub-directory (and no subs)
Thank you for the advice. The deobfusacation switch worked fine, but I'm still having a problem getting the downloads in the proper sub-directory. Also still no subtitles are found. EDIT: In Sorting can I change the Download Dir for each group, meaning Series Sorting, Movie Sorting and Date Sorting?

Cannot get downloads in the correct sub-directory (and no subs)
I'm trying to get TV episodes to be processed correctly to their respective directories, but unfortunately it doesn't work with me. My settings are shown below: https://i.imgur.com/gn6mbqe.png https://i.imgur.com/ec08rqB.png The problem occurs when I download direct from an indexer without using Son...
