I have it running on a Synology CS407 and find the speeds to the the same as you, anywhere between 500-1000 kbs. When downloading direct to my computer i get my full 20 meg but not on the NAS. OK. I think i have this just about solved now. SABNZBD (in my newbie terms) runs and stores folders under the Admin user on the server. When i am connecting to the server i am doing so under the user 'Jon' If i connect in the finder by the Admin account all is well. NOW question....... Can SABNZBD ...

After a little further investigation i have noticed that if i connect via SMB rather than AFP i can get access to the folders. However the folders still display as empty. If i SSH into the folder the contents are CubeStation> dir drwx------ 6 root root 4096 Feb 7 09:23 . drwxrwxrwx ...

What kind of stuff is being removed.
Having used newzbin for years i can't say i have actually noticed any degradation.
I suppose it must be stuff i have little interest in. I tend to grab all the big US shows, Movies and apps.

Hmmm this get stranger.
That didn't work but i have just downloaded two movies that unpacked fine.

Thanks for your help on this. I have accessed the shared folder on the NAS and double clicked the rar file and it un packs ok, i am assuming the un rar is carried out by the mac though. How do i get the NAS to do the processing? i have transfered it to my mac and it unpacks ok. All RAR files do this...

Guys, I have the latest release installed on a synology CS407 and have it downloading fine. However when it comes to unpacking i get no joy with RAR files, they always fail with CRC FAILURE. ZIP files are fine it is just RAR files. Here is part of the log, not sure how much is needed but it seems to...
