Re: SABnzbd was started with encoding ANSI_X3.4-1968, this should be UTF-8

Based on your logging and the BTC in there, I think you use https://github.com/hotio/docker-sabnzbd . Correct? Yes how do you start it? Honesty, I dunno. I'm not familiar with docker enough. It's part of Cloudbox media server project, so it starts automatically. They also got portainer instaled for...

(SOLVED) SABnzbd was started with encoding ANSI_X3.4-1968, this should be UTF-8

Hello. I'm having problems with docker-sabnzbd I already contacted the ones maintaining the docker and they couldn't replicate the issue, so I decided to ask here, maybe someone else experienced this problem and found a workaround When I open sabs interface it says "SABnzbd was started with enc...

Re: Checking stuck at 99%

I don't remember what it was I was trying to check ;(

Anyways, I tried different nbz and they worked fine, then I found several others that got stuck at 99% and then I tried to check them again and the second time they got checked just fine. The problem is I can't seem to reproduce this.

1)2.2.0 Alpha 2 2) one server 3) Yes, obviously ;) 4) When I pause-unpause the individual download that got stuck at 99% sab finishes checking and starts downloading PS Hmm.. and now it seems to be working fine... Maybe I got mistaken..maybe it was Alpha 1 that didn't work. Sorry ;) I'll keep an eye...

In the Queue it will show the number of missing in the progress bar, when there are more than 50 missing.

Is there any way to force sabnzbd show the number of missing articles if there are more than 1? Maybe via a config file or something?

Re: Issues with pre-check?

If it hasn't changed why it has become so ineffective as if only running one thread?

I have to say although "Abort if download cannot be completed" is a nice feature, having ability to see exactly how many articles are missing could come in handy too.

Issues with pre-check?

I think there is a problem with pre-check. it seems that it uses just one thread. Here are my test results: AW, 20 connections, EU server, 4.5 Gb release(100% healthy) 1) nzb completion checker: HEAD: ~28 seconds. STAT: ~28 seconds. 2) SABnzbd Version: 0.7.17 : 4 minutes 3 seconds That's a huge diff...

Re: How to enable\install multicore par2 on Mint 14?(solved)

After several days of using it I have to say that it doesn't work like a charm ,sadly. When I checked logs I saw errors related to these other two files that allows par2 to run in multithreaded mode and some pars were corrupted I had to switch tosingle core par2. Maybe if I compiled multithreaded pa...

How to enable\install multicore par2 on Mint 14?(solved)

I've just recently migrated to mint 14 and when I installed the latest version of sabnzbd from Ubuntu PPA Repository I noticed that multicore option is disabled\greyed out. Could somebody help a noob ;) on how to deal with this minor issue? If it is possible at all It is not just for sabnzbd that I ...

"Wish List" feature

Helllo. I was wondering if it was possible to introduce something like "wish list" feature like Newsbin has. It is used to store releases you plan on downloading later on. One might consider it stores "bookmarked" collections In Newsbin it looks like this: i open Wish List window...

Has precheck changed somehow?

It does perform very slow. Even on new files on Aw it checks at 1KB (!)

it used to do it at 10-15+ KB

In comparison newsbin pro checking is performed (HEAD method, 15 connections active) at 200+KB

nzb download checker(STAT) (10 active) does it fast too
