What happened to this?
Is it stable and working with nothing new or is the project completely dead?

Re: Media Rover
Is there a document that speaks to the differences between your episode_sort functionality over the SABnzbd sort rename functionality? Main issue I have with SABnzbd is using ability to use multiple locations across different drives. Media rover can watch multiple locations will it also place a s...

Re: Media Rover
Ahh. I found my issue. Since I made a new folder, and didn't overwrite the last MR folder my sorting batch needed to be edited. The batch was calling the old sorting.

Re: Media Rover
Hey rollingeyeball, good to have you back! Are you running the latest code from the dev branch? Also, did you replace the MR application directory when you upgraded or did you just unpack it over top of the existing one? Kierse I created a brand new directory for the downloaded files (/dev branch...

Re: Media Rover
Hey guys, been a while since I've been in this thread :D I upgraded MR after Newzbin closed and I noticed that my episodes weren't being named correctly. The new .conf wanted me to use single_episode = '$(series)s - $(SEASON_EPISODE_1)s$(smart_title)s' but I found i had to use this variable instead,...

Re: Autodownload script
MrAcid, if you search here for 'MediaRover' it's a similiar script that is actively maintained, and makes this obsolete, in my opinion.

Re: Passworded RAR prevention
Hence my 'someday' . I'm just glad the idea has been recognised as useful.
I'm still confused why it's ok now and wasn't ok earlier mind you.

This is great, but I point you guys here with a confused look on my face.
Anyway, looking forward to this being implemented someday.

Re: Per-IP exemptions for login
I'd also like this. But this kind of stuff is never top of the list for devs =/ As a workaround, you could set up a local apache server and use that to require and manage accounts and authentication, disabling the in-built sab password access. I plan to do this myself sometime, adding full user auth...

Re: queue sorter
I think this is GREAT, but I don't usually have a need for it.
I shall monitor this thread though.
Good work doubledrat!
By the way - Any ideas on how one could automate this to run after adding something to queue?. Just out of curiosity

Re: Media Rover
Thanks Kierse. All good now :) A suggestion too - maybe an easier config option for disabling logging to screen, so that pythonw works? Removing instances of 'screen' in logging.conf works fine but I forgot it just then, and I figure some others probably don't even know you can edit logging.conf to ...

I formatted today and reinstalled MR from the /dev branch and python 2.5.4 I get this error C:\MediaRover\mediarover\__init__.py:311: Warning: 'as' will become a reserved k eyword in Python 2.6 Traceback (most recent call last): File "C:\MediaRover\mediarover.py", line 17, in <module> ...

Re: Media Rover
How does it find missing episodes and not just grab newly released ones that? I assume that one would have to build a custom report for this in newzbin for "All Tv Shows" and then feed the generated RSS link to Rover...is this correct if one wants to download all old episodes of a show? S...
