Re: Speed Issues on 1Gbps
Wanted to give an update for people who may switch to fiber at some point and witness my same problem. I was having routing issues and needed to have my ISP give me a static IP. I mainly did this to get around my double NAT issue with Plex that made it impossible for me to reach it outside of my net...

Re: Speed Issues on 1Gbps
Try some free usenet provider trials and see which provider does max out your connection more, using NZBGet or SABnzbd! My high-speed testing is done on Frugal: http://frugalusenet.com/ However their retention is (puprosly) limited to 600 days so you'd have to get a block/second account somewhere e...

Re: Speed Issues on 1Gbps
I'm able to reach my advertised speeds of 1Gbps down through speed tests done online.safihre wrote:No, it seems you might not have connected your pc through a gigabit cable to your router? The speeds you get seem like 100Mbit?
What happens when you do an online speedtest?

Re: Speed Issues on 1Gbps
You should try Nzbget, Sabnzbd cannot handle those speeds because it is written in python, an accessible language, but not the fastest like C++ of nzbget. We are working on some speed ups in the upcoming versions, but even then the max I can get with my Core i5 is 50MB/s. Nzbget will get me 80MB/s ...

Speed Issues on 1Gbps
EDIT PROBLEM RESOLVED: If you suffer from these same issues, call your ISP and get a static IP. I recently upgraded to 1Gbps fiber and can only reach speeds of 11.4 MB/s. I've tried everything suggested in sabnzbd's help section for high speed downloads. I even contacted my news host to see if they...

Generic Sorting; use NZB name for the end result name?
Is it possible to just apply the NZB's actual name to the end result filenames? Say I place Movie.2010.1080p.BluRay.x264-GROUP.nzb into a category... I'd like the end result files to just be Movie.2010.1080p.BluRay.x264-GROUP.nfo, Movie.2010.1080p.BluRay.x264-GROUP.mkv etc...
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Category names like [b.l.u]-[r.a.y] renamed to [b.l.u}-{r.a.y]
Yeah it's weird though as it only recently started happening within the last few updates. I've had these dir names since 0.4. Hmm...

Category names like [b.l.u]-[r.a.y] renamed to [b.l.u}-{r.a.y]
This just started happening in the last few updates of 5.0. I couldn't tell you which. I've always had categories with ]-[ seperating two words and it's worked fine. My categories aren't actually enclosed in brackets as that causes issues also (we talked about it before) so I have been naming them l...

Post Processing issue again. RC3
I woke up to this just now. A huge processing queue doing nothing and SAB using 600mb of memory. Only error I had was: 2010-02-02 06:02:07,700 ERROR: Loading C:\Users\da.m4nn\AppData\Local\sabnzbd\cache\postproc1.sab failed All that's in that file is "€K]q†q.", sure that's encrypted. I hav...

Re: sabnzbd+ is stuck on repairing..
I had this issue also, but I had changed the par2 flags to -t+ hoping for better results. After I had the issue i set it back to -t0 and haven't had it since.

Re: SABnzbd doesn't load at all anymore?!
The way we handle incorrect INI files is far from ideal. We're working on a better solution. The reason brackets [] are not allowed is that we use the ancient Windows INI file format. This format has lots of restrictions, so we will dump it sometime in the future. BTW: didn't you see something like...

Re: SABnzbd doesn't load at all anymore?!
Well I solved the problem. If you use categories with titles enclosed in brackets (example: "[a.p.p.z]"), your settings file once saved and reloaded will be considered not valid. Fatal error: "C:\Users\da.m4nn\AppData\Local\sabnzbd\sabnzbd.ini" is not a valid configuration file...

SABnzbd doesn't load at all anymore?!
Anyone know what could keep SABnzbd from loading? It was working just fine... I came from newsleecher and this is 1000x better! My problem now is that it doesn't load... I open it and I'll get the wait cursor for a split second and it will go away. I check my tasks and sabnzbd isn't running. I can't...
