I had this error. I was adding the NZB to SABConnect++ from the laptop to my PC with the actual SAB installation. Turns out the PC with SAB had simply lot its connection to the internet as I was messing about with DNS settings.

For anyone having trouble try this:

terminal > gksudo gedit > open > navigate to etc/default/sabnzbdplus > Put your username in front of the USER: field and you should be good to go.

Started with clean parameter and set the article cache to 90MB.

Reinstalled again. Speeds levelling out around 1140kB/s on SSL so I'm happy with that. Think my provider is having probs with their EU servers too.

No errors so far.

Do you get any "missing article" warnings? Do you use the exact same NZB's for the clients? When the downloads are very young, downloading later may solve the problem (which might explain the difference between clients). Do you use a specific software firewall? (check the file ISSUES.txt ...
