Usenet Account Sharing

Given the ability of the API now, this seems possible. I would like the ability to share a usenet account between two people. Currently I just have both sabnzbd setup on schedules that do not overlap. What would be a lot nicer is if the sabnzbd installations could talk to each other and I could assi...

Re: Script Breaks +Delete

I would rather sabnzbd be paranoid then overly clean up files. The extension-based clean up works flawlessly. Thank you for the quick and great responses. Also thank you and everyone else involved in sabnzbd, its an amazing program that is better then you can image and gets better everyday. Thanks f...

Re: Script Breaks +Delete

Yup "Enable Par Cleanup" is on. Well the the par2 files are being deleted for both the original and copied locations, when added to the clean up list, so the clean up task is doing it's job just fine. Its just funny that "Enable Par Cleanup" doesn't work when having the script run.

Re: Script Breaks +Delete

The par2 files that sabnzbd isn't deleting are the par files for the actual movie, not spurious files. I can double check on the exact same movie but I expect the same results... I did add par2 to the clean up list and that works just fine. I don't think it will cause problems... I just don't get ho...

Script Breaks +Delete

I just made a little post-processing script to copy the downloaded file to another location but I noticed that I now still have all the *.par and *.par2 files. I downloaded a file without running the post-processing and sabnzbd deleted all the *.par and *.par2 files as it should. So it looks like ru...

Might be a bit early but tvnzb.ca look like it could turn out to be good. Just a heads up.

Re: Newzbin replacement?

With nzbdstatus every indexer works just as well with SABnzbd as Newzbin. I'm going to have to completely disagree.  Newzbin only features: When a nzb is grabbed the category is passed to sabnzbd TV shows are automatically renamed There is a link in the download history directly to the post (very h...

Re: Sick Beard (ALPHA) - Download/sort/rename episodes, XBMC/growl integration, more

Yeah it filters reports from Newzbin that are marked "(Passworded)" but reports that haven't been marked yet there is no way to tell. Prioritization is a good idea but will definitely not come until later. I just got a nzb from newzbin that has a password. It has been marked "(passwo...

Password List

I think it would be nice to have a list of passwords that sabnzbd can check if it finds an archive that needs a password and has not had one defined in the name of the nzb (using the new feature in 0.5). I do realize this would become very inefficient if the list was too large, but if kept to a resp...

Re: Sick Beard (ALPHA) - Download/sort/rename episodes, XBMC/growl integration, more

The reason I don't do that is because if your folder name didn't give the show you wanted then you would have to cancel the add and go rename it. And since theTVDB.com search engine is absolutely terrible I think this situation would come up fairly often (try searching for csi miami and you'll get ...
