Re: 0.6RC1: Queue is invisible with Plush

It's a mess! Agreed, where would you put them? I guess the problem is that the interface has evolved over time. Up until about a year or two ago, I used SAB every day, and I imagine as you add more elements, it remains simple to use, but if you are coming to it as a new user, it's not too friendly....

Re: 0.6RC1: Queue is invisible with Plush

Ah yes, it seems to have fixed itself. Schoolboy error on my part, I guess. Now, I like SABnzbd a lot, and have been using it for a very long time. A few ideas I came up with were implemented in to the program and I feel part of the community, so please take this in the spirit in which it's intended...

0.6RC1: Queue is invisible with Plush

I upgraded from 0.5.6 to 0.6 Beta RC1. I kept my .ini, but deleted all the other stuff in admin, cache etc. SAB is downloading correctly, but Plush isn't showing the queue for some reason? With the classic skin enabled, the queue is visible: http://i51.tinypic.com/211z6d.jpg But with Plush, it doesn...

I know Methanoid has a LinkStation Pro... as do I.  ;D

My tests (based on max throughput of 2000kB/sec on my connection):

sabnzbd with SSL: 500kB/s
sabnzbd, NO SSL: 1000kB/s
nzbget, NO SSL: 1975kB/s

Re: nzbdStatus: SAB Control & Monitoring and NewzBin Integration

Also, regarding donations - people like you are the exact reason SABnzbd wont be accepting donations. You cant demand features just because you donated cash.. Donations are a generous offer where you should expect nothing back That said, how is being able to monitor multiple SABnzbds coming along? ...

Re: Newzbin gets a letter from the MPA(A) [sic]

I also did a 12 month top up for the first time at Xmas, but as it was half price and we're half way through the year, it's not like  we're losing out.

Re: synchronizing multiple sab clients to share one download source

Great idea. I use up to 4 machines to download, so this would be very useful.

-t0 option for par2

The multicore par2 thrashes my hard drive when verifying and is a lot slower than single-core par2 in verify passes for large RARs (50 or 100MB+). Repairing is much faster multi-threaded, but for this reason, the -t0 option was added to TBB par2 (which I assume you're using?). http://chuchusoft.com/...

Re: 0.4.0RC2 Standby yields Hibernate

If you can live without hibernation, turn it off and the machine should standby.

Failing that, this may help: http://articles.techrepublic.com.com/51 ... 85330.html

Re: Unrarring or repearing CPU

You're wrong.  ;D

Unraring is usually disk-limited.

Repairing is either disk or CPU limited. If you have a multi core CPU, par repair will be faster if you manually install the TBB (threaded) par2 or wait for the 0.4 final with multi core support.
