Re: Headphones : Music albums and artists auto download prog
Hi, I'm trying to install Headphones on my XP HTPC. I downloaded and installed the Python 3.2.3 msi. I then tried running the Headphones.py file from windows explorer. That launched a cmd window which disappeard quickly, but nothing happened. That is, I could not access localhost:8181. When I execut...

Re: Sick Beard (ALPHA) - Download/sort/rename episodes, XBMC/growl integration, more
On Windows XP, what exactly do I need to do when moving from build 458 to 459? Previously, I unzipped the builld 458 into its own dir and ran it from there. Now 459 is in its own dir and running it from there is like starting fresh. Do I just copy the sickbeard.db file over. Is that enough?
thanks

Re: Sick Beard (ALPHA) - Download/sort/rename episodes, XBMC/growl integration, more
Eejit,
What I do is visit the site http://www.pogdesign.co.uk/cat/
Then I add all the shows I want well in advance of when they start airing. I just scan for new shows and add them. WF/GF never needs to add a new show that way.....or almost never.

Re: Sick Beard (ALPHA) - Download/sort/rename episodes, XBMC/growl integration, more
rascalli,
You're saying that if under "Add Single Show" I put "C:\PATH\SHOWNAME" that SB will create that folder? Did not know that.........
Eejit,
No offense intended here, but if GF/wife has trouble navigating folders should she really be the one configuring shows?

From what I have read in this forum, the developer is working on a better way to add shows. You don't necessarily have to download an episode to add the show. All you need is a folder with the name of the show.

No idea on that one. Did you insert that manually? If so, yeah delete it. If it doesnt work, just reinstall SAB

Re: Sabnzb startup without logging in to windows (WHS)
Umm...no. You just run it and it runs as a web page. It does not run as a Windows Service (i.e., administered via services.msc).

Re: Sabnzb startup without logging in to windows (WHS)
I dont actually run it as a Windows Service (with all that stuff you did). It sounds like you might be running it both as a service and as a normal application via the Scheduled Task. Just do the scheduled task and delete all that other stuff you did.

Re: Sabnzb startup without logging in to windows (WHS)
Wait, it is even easier than a Windows service. I've added sabnzbd as a Windows Scheduled Task. Just add a scheduled task that kicks off at system start (no logon required). Works for me, no problem. Just had to make sure I cleared the default that says to stop a task if it has been running for 3 da...

Re: Sick Beard (ALPHA) - Download/sort/rename episodes, XBMC/growl integration, more
Just bumping this one issue: Once sabnzbd downloads the episode, the sabtosick script is kicking in. Looks like the last two steps are to move the file to the final destination and then rename it. Is there any way to reverse that operation. Mediaportal (at least my version of TV Series) does not lik...

Re: Sick Beard (ALPHA) - Download/sort/rename episodes, XBMC/growl integration, more
Hey, great work on this tool. I finally made the leap from using the RSS integration in SAB. I have to say, it was not exactly straight forward why I would want to use sickbeard, but once I tried it - it is really good. Sorry for the long post, but I have some comments and questions after trying SB...

Preview RSS matches to show which filter matched
In the RSS configuration, when you click the preview button you get a list of items that match the configured filters. However, you don't know which filter is actually matched. I would like to see the filter that is actually causing the item to be downloaded. Some downloads started automatically and...

Re: Import/export RSS feed definition
+1 for the ability to import/export the feed list. I know they are in the ini file, and that is how I have previously backed them up. However, I ran into problems a during the last install because of the way the ini file organized the RSS feeds. Long story short, I wound up with some duplicate RSS i...

Re: Possible fix for downloading duplicate TV shows
Out of curiosity, wouldn't the following work? 1) For your accept filters, change everything to "Show*Name*S02E*" - that way you will only get individual episodes of the current season (assuming we are in season 2 of Show Name). This filter would not match the entire season postings. Ther...
