Re: set priority of Backup Server
Bump for this 5 month old thread, glad this feature is on the road map (http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/roadmap). I'm surprised server priorities were not used in the first place when coding Sab, most newsreaders have had this core feature for a long time, about time Sab catches up

Re: High Memory Usage / Potential Memory Leaks Investigation
I just upgraded to the new version of sab last night and downloaded some things over night, when I woke up and it said my system didn't have enough memory or something like that. I'll have to see if Sab does it again.

Re: set priority of Backup Server
Well have you noticed if Sab has ever used your US secondary server to fill in something it couldn't find on your EU primary server?shypike wrote:DMCA is valid in the US only, so maybe they leave the EU server alone.

Re: set priority of Backup Server
Everybody should have 2 or more backup servers, it really helps out with eliminating in-completions. Your mileage may vary. I have very little trouble when I use only Supernews. I do have the EU server as primary and the US server as backup. Astraweb is deteriorating though, personally I have had d...

Re: set priority of Backup Server
People have different needs and most don't have 5 backup servers. As this is a volunteers project, things only happen when someone is motivated enough to delve into it. The code involved is particularly nasty to change. (It had to be to be able to get any download performance, which isn't SABnzbd's...

Re: NZB Completion Checker?
This completion checker works decently, but would be great if one was built into sab.

Re: set priority of Backup Server
I was about to post this request and saw it, I can't believe Sab doesn't have this. Is the programming really that hard just to give us the ability to set the priority of servers? Sab has all these advanced features and yet it's missing this one core feature.... ??? Don't get me wrong, Sab is free a...

Re: Sab 6.15 "On Finish" bug with IE, but works with Firefox
Latest version IE9. Just open IE and go to sab and see for yourself.shypike wrote:There's IE6, 7, 8, 9 all with different behaviour.
Which one is it?
BTW, we only take 9 (semi-)seriously.

Sab 6.15 "On Finish" bug with IE, but works with Firefox
Just noticed this same problem on 2 different computers, if you use Internet Explorer and select "On Finish" and try to select Shutdown PC/Standby PC/etc Sab will kick you out of the menu before you get a chance to select something. If you use Firefox it works normally and gives you enough...

Re: Question on using multiple servers in sab
"Optional" is used for servers that are unreliable. It allows SABnzbd to discard them for 10 minutes so that they do not disturb the download with lots of timeouts. I think you should not set free servers as "Backup", because then they will never be used. The most expensive serv...

Question on using multiple servers in sab
I read this (http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/configure-servers-v2) but I want to make sure I setup my configuration correctly. I want to use Newsgroupdirect as my primary server to download everything from, then I want to use my Astraweb block as a backup fill server, and then I want to use all of my other ...

Re: Free Newsservers
@Gigahertz21 What kind of IPv6-addresses does your "ipconfig" show: fe80:.., 2001:0:..., 2002:... and/or any other IPv6 addresses? Maybe best to post your full ipconfig output; I also want to know if you're behind a NAT device at all, which can be seen by your IPv4 address: private (192.....

Re: Free Newsservers
Interesting (ignoring some of your language). Short: can you post the output of "netsh interface teredo show state" and post it here? And: To see the Teredo Interface in the Device Manager, open the Device manager > View > Show hidden devices > then expand "Network adapters" Lon...
