Download Performance
Hi all, I updated to SAB 2.0.0 [55c4bef] and also moved ISPs at same time. Since then, I have had really poor download performance. Not only is the download performance very slow on the new SAB (less than 1mb a sec) but also the UI is slow to respond. If I go to settings, or delete the downloaded NZ...

Index Site hosting - need some advice
Hey Guys I am thinking of putting up an index site to fill the void NZBMatrix left with us. I was wondering a couple things: 1. What size hosting package should I be looking for (Ram, HDD, CPU)? My personal index site is still adding NZB imports and is about 5GB already. I estimate I should be looki...

Re: Newznab Installation Tutorial for Mac OSX
What size HDD space do you need to run Newznab site and mysql db with 300 days of backfill on 12 groups? I am afraid that my hdd is too small. If it is, is there a way of adding an external Hdd that will be recognized where I can add the apps onto the external hdd?

Re: newznab - open source usenet indexer and all round nzbs.
So far the newznab program is working fine and I am happy I donated. I am only indexing a few groups right now and have about 180 days of backfill. However, I am not getting all the TV shows or new Movies. I am getting a lot of >Other categories. is there a list of newsgroups that should be indexed ...

Re: newznab - open source usenet indexer and all round nzbs.
I am going to set this up on my home laptop Windows7 16 GB Ram i7 cpu at 2.20 Ghz My question is how much HDD space do I need for the mysql database to index the usenet sites for movies, TV and music? I would do a backfill and have 1200 day retention? The hd in the laptop has space for 250 gb, but I...

nzb INDEX - hOW?
I just realized after returning from holidays that NZBmatrix has closed down. I live in Switzerland where it is legal to download for personal use. So I am bummed now ::) This made me think, I might just open up a Nzbindex site, but wondered how? what does the average monthly bill run at and where c...

Re: Server for Sabnzbdb
Hi Shypike, Ok I moved my complete folder to the NAS. The unpacking on the NAs appears to take forever. SAB has been showing it is running the sabtosickbeard script for over 1 hour :) It would appear the NAS is slow. This would mean I need to get an external eSATA HDD for the complete folder to do u...

Re: Server for Sabnzbdb
Thanks Shypike The complete TV files are moved automatically by the sabtosickbeard script. But the transferred files are left also in the complete folder :( I manually rename the movie folder and movie file based on Plex naming conventions (a pain) and then manually move the to the nas. Music is als...

I am thinking of getting a mac mini for Sabnzb, sickbeard and Couch potato. The trouble I have is: 1. local storage on mac mini and the complete folder Point 1: Sabnzb leaves all files in the complete folder even after they are moved to the network storage. Secondly, I was told using network storage...
