Thanks very much shypike.
I'll move my temp folder and remember the queue repair function for next time.
What is the procedure to move the temp folder without losing anything?

Backing up the queue
Hi all. I've just spent a painful couple of hours restoring my download queue by sifting through the nzb backup folder. I think the cause of the lost queue was windows failing to map the drive that contains the temp directory prior to sabnzbd starting up. Is there a way to backup the queue so I can ...

Re: Pause individual articles
Hi shypike. Thanks for your reply. I disagree with your assertion that the functionality I've suggested is not at all useful. It is very useful to me for the quota management reason I explained in the OP. I accept that the procedure I've described is very manual and that this is in conflict with th...

Pause individual articles
Hi there. Is there a way to pause individual articles belonging to an item in the downloads list? For example: Say I have add a download to SABnzbd (using an nzb) that is 10GB in total size and is comprised of ten 1GB articles. I have 5GB remaining monthly download quota with my ISP or news provider...

OK, fair enough and thanks for the suggestions.
Pity because SABnzbd does everything else so much better than Alt.Binz.
I'll look for a browser extension to provide the kind of functionality I'm after.
Cheers.

Re: User "notes" feature
Hi, thanks for your response. To answer your questions: 1. I'm not informed as to the scope of SABnzbd, so I can't comment on whether this feature would fall out of scope or not. 2. It helps to download things because you might become aware of something you'd like to download but can't locate an nzb...

User "notes" feature
Hi. I've migrated from alt.binz to sabnzbd. One feature that i miss from alt.binz is the built in "notes" feature. This is even more important now that I can do most of my administration remotely through a browser. It would be great to have a simple text entry area where I can take notes a...
