Re: Free Newsservers
Gave newszilla6.xs4all.nl another go after a long time. Can't say about retention / reliability, but I was pulling down over 5MB/s. Not too shabby

More bandwidth stats
I like how under server settings, it shows bandwidth information for each server (total, today, this week, this month). I was wondering if it'd be reasonable enough to implement more statistics? Say, average speed per connection for that server, or even aggregate. I am currently on an unlimited mont...

Re: Selective NZB download will not autoqueue
The nzb is not empty. I can add the nzb that's in the incomplete folder and everything will download as is usual. Chained nzb sounds like what I'm talking about though. It works most of the time. I haven't figured out what the common factor is when it doesn't though. So far, I've only found that one...

Re: Selective NZB download will not autoqueue
Thanks, will do. The next time the typical weekly failure will be next Sunday. Basically, I have a nzbindex.nl feed of nzbs (for an efnet release of a show say, there'll be a set that usually includes the nfo, rars, pars, another set for the sample, and another set that's just the nzb as posted by w...

Re: Best Win7 drive setup (ssd/hdd location for program and cache/incompletes)
It's optimal to have your incomplete and complete folders be on different drives. SSD definitely helps if you have an insanely fast connection. Back when I had access to campus internet, I was able to download in excess of 13MB/s. I was definitely bottlenecked by my HDD if I was say downloading an e...

History RSS Broken?
When I click the history rss in 0.5.0rc3, I get error: Missing authentication
I've tried disabling api key and restarted sabnzbd but same results.
I do have a username/password set up. How would I add that to the rss url? I'm guessing this is the problem and there's no actual bug at all.

SSL Email
I stopped managing my own smtp for my domain name and am now letting google handle it. The problem is that google requires ssl for smtp. Is it feasible to request this for a future sabnzbd? I'd love to get sms notifications again.
Cheers

Re: Manipulating Powerboost
Powerboost or whatever different providers call it is becoming standard practice. Really actually not a bad idea if you think about it. The only real negative criticism for it is that you can't get proper speedtest results anymore since it'll just show your inflated powerboost speeds.

Re: Free Newsservers
I can easily max out my cable internet connection with xsnews and xs4all. This is at 2.5MB/s. Do note that with Teredo, I'll see about 700KB/s-1400KB/s using both servers. By using Hurricane Electric (I've got a relay about 20 miles away), I can max out easily. I haven't ever tried HE on campus thou...
