works great now. only problem i encountered was that an unrar app had replaced the JAR Launcher.app as the default application for .jar filetypes and after filling out the config and right-click starting the JAR it all works great.

I couldn't find a Mac version on the Ep Butler website so I assume I am downloading the Linux version and then do something with that?
