Need help migrating from Windows to Ubuntu
I've been running Sabnzbd (and Sickbeard and Couchpotato, you know the deal) on a Zotac MAG Intel Atom N330 running Windows 7 32bit for maybe a year now. It's satrting to act funny and I'm getting audio stuttering and just general shitty performance out of anything that's not XBMC. So I'm pondering ...

Re: Updates wipe settings
I fear I'm just annoying you at this point...
The shortcut is nothing but to SABnzbd.exe. No additional parameters.

Re: Updates wipe settings
In this case, after shutting it down through the interface, I just double-clicked the shortcut that was placed on the Desktop.

Re: Updates wipe settings
I shut down Sabnzbd, I opened up C:\Users\admin\AppData\Local\sabnzbd\ and all that was in there was two folder and "sabnzbd.ini.tmp"
UGH! I restarted, and all my settings are gone again.

Re: Updates wipe settings
OK, it appears to be in the right place now, but this morning I noticed this error:
2012-05-09 03:39:37,690 ERROR: Cannot create backup file for C:\Users\admin\AppData\Local\sabnzbd\sabnzbd.ini
Any idea why it would fail to make a backup? It was doing this with the old file location also.

Re: Updates wipe settings
Yes, it was in "C:\Program Files\SABnzbd." It looks like by deleting it, and resetting everything again, It's now placed it in "C:\Users\admin\AppData\Local\sabnzbd\sabnzbd.ini". Not sure why it put itself in the Program Files folder in the first place...
Well, thanks!

Updates wipe settings
OK, I've got two issues: 1) When Windows updates, all my Sabnzbd settings get wiped. The setup wizard comes up, and I have to start from scratch. It got so annoying I set up a batch script to backup the sabnzbd.ini file so I could replace it when that happened. 2) when updating to .6.15, I lost all ...

Re: sabnzbd.ini reset to default after windows update.
I've had this exact same thin happen to me twice now. SUPER frustrating. Is there really no answer? I guess I'll have to set up something to backup that file...
