Re: [SOLVED] Deobfuscate.py fails with Found multiple larger files, aborting when using +UNPACK and rars are over 40 MB
Could also try the Config > Sorting options to rename the final files using the "Filename as Jobname" preset. I tried that but I'm using +UNPACK at the moment and Sorting renames all the rars too, creating a bit of a mess. if I was using +DELETE (when I'm braver maybe) it would work.

[SOLVED] Deobfuscate.py fails with Found multiple larger files, aborting when using +UNPACK and rars are over 40 MB
Error: If you have Processing set to +UNPACK and your rars are over 40MB the script deobfuscate.py doesn't rename the extracted file to the job-name because it detects the rars as additional 'large files' and aborts with error text Found multiple larger files, aborting No par2 files or large files f...

Re: After clarification on the new duplicate detection metho
Thanks for the clarification shypike. It's an XP box and I can't explain why the ini locations don't match those in the wiki, one of the several reasons the install is being moved to new hardware and OS(x64). As comparison against archived nzb files appears to be by name only (I've occasionally had ...

After clarification on the new duplicate detection method
I had a search but couln't find anything beyond the few words on the Introducing 1.0.0 page. I have just updated from 0.7x to 1.0.3 in preperation to move the install to a new microserver running Win7 as the previous WinXP box is very overdue for retirement. I read all the 1.0.0 page and only got ca...

Re: SSL HTTP(S) Help
Pretty much explained here. http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/configure-general-0-7 However, if you are only accessing it on the machine it is installed on i.e. the SABnzbd Host field is still set to localhost then you can safely ignore the https part and just access it using http. The main reason people set ...

Had a crash and some files in the admin_dir failed to load
I'm fairly sure I know what happened but really just looking for a confirmation that the data is gone, not a big deal as the system recovered and is working fine. I needed to restart the pc that runs sabnzbd and clicked on shutdown from the menu. A second or so later the system froze and I had to pe...

Re: WD TV Live not playing files......
From the sequential nature of the hex codes i would suspect the file has been truncated, and yet you say they are the same size, this is weird. Are you sure that "copy and paste the file from the Completed folder into my desired folder, then it magically works." as if that was true then th...

Re: NZB errors and missing Block/Articles. How to avoid it
A really handy tool is NZBcc (NZB completion checker) which takes a nzb and checks the configured servers to see how complete it is and since it is only checking and not downloading it uses hardly any bandwidth. It essentially does the same as sabnzbds precheck but if a post has been dmca'd you almo...

Re: WD TV Live not playing files......
I think you may be having a problem during extraction, i don't really see how a 1.0gb file can unpack in 4 seconds unless it is on a ssd, if it is on a spinning platter hard drive there just is not time to extract 1.0gb in 4 seconds. On a spinning platter hard drive it should take around 10-12 secon...

Re: NZBIndex RSS. Second, third, etc. pages
I have used nzbindex.nl for quite a while too (just over a year but it feels longer) and it looks to me like the rss feed on the server end is configured to only return the first 250 results (an unfortunate but not unreasonable setup for a free service) just as the web page is limited to the first 2...

Re: --- left, speed not being displayed & download in 'waiti
Sabnzbd has had this behaviour for as long as i can remember, it is just cosmetic and has no affect on what it is actually doing. My scenario, which i hope clarifies what is happening. As to my isp is a business isp i keep downloads to a minimum during the day by scheduling a "Pause", due ...

Re: 0.7.6 precheck with empty nzb gets in a checking loop
Guess i have been lucky as i can hardly recall more than a couple in the last year that failed due to samples in the par2-set, still i see the validy of your recommendation and have changed the setting to off which should also help to avoid empty nzbs.

0.7.6 precheck with empty nzb gets in a checking loop
This looks like a case of unintended consequences. I am using an rss feed from nzbindex.nl to automatically add nzbs and i occasionally get an nzb which just contains sample files. sabnzbd filters these sample files out and as there were no files left used to generate a single error about an empty n...

Re: wiki.sabnzbd.org - The SABnzbd Manual - Suggestions & Di
just a quick note on a footnote which i believe is out of date NZB Sources - Usenet Indexing Sites NZBIndex RSS Footnote 5 I have been using NZBIndex almost since day one (about 7 months) and i have never seen fresh NZB Identifiers each time the feed is read. I hypothesise that if it once did work t...

howto add password protected rss feeds
it is possible to add an rss feed which requires a username password by incorporating them into the url. Warning! This transmits your username and password in the clear. It is no different than logging into a website via http (instead of https) and as such should be avoided in situations where there...
