Re: Script to automate fixing failed downloads
So, that is the same as clicking "Retry", right? Did you also try config/switches/#propagation_delay ? No. You know how you see the same thing posted multiple times but months apart? Like that. Can you check: do those two different NZBs have the same article references? If not, do they ha...

Script to automate fixing failed downloads
I hate downloading something only to have it finish with 10 or so missing blocks. I've come to learn that if you download the same thing that was posted earlier or, strangely enough, the exact same thing from a different indexer you can combine the two (or more) into one working download. I wrote a ...

Re: Download exits early breaking retries
I don't know. If the download fails with too few repair blocks rerunning it won't fix it. It's when sab stops early I can sometimes fix it.

Re: Download exits early breaking retries
Now that I'm awake lets try this again. Sab starts downloading a nzb. Sab thinks it cannot complete so it stops. The files that were currently being downloaded are saved as truncated. If you click "retry" it will not redownload the truncated existing files. There is almost no chance a repa...

Re: Download exits early breaking retries
If you delete the file then "retry" yes it will redownload the file. And req_completion_rate won't let me go below 100.

Download exits early breaking retries
Dunno if anyone else reported this but I noticed this in 3.3.1, could be in earlier versions. Lets say I'm downloading an nzb with 10 files, lets say the files are 50M each. Sab gets about halfway through then decides to stop. At this point one or two of the files will be way below what is on the se...

Re: Newsscraper
Forgot I posted this here
Anyway if people are still interested I'll zip it up as is. You WILL need some linux/php knowledge to get it working. It's not a user-friendly project just yet.

Newsscraper
I wrote a php script that started as an ongoing hack and evolved for about a year into a full featured app. The entire point is to spend as little time as possible using newzbin. Here are some features. - one click queuing of files in sabnzbd/ninan - mouseover viewing of posting date/imdb info/nfo/p...

Little script I wrote to monitor sabnzb, I use the older one and nova. Change the username/password in the script if you use one.
