Re: Invalid par2 files, cannot verify or repair.
A lot of files downloaded via the SickBeard index are corrupt for me (files spanning many months) - this is a recent phenomenon and I wonder if it's due to the current attack on Usenet by the film industry (they are actively killing downloads on many of the big providers)...

Re: [iOS] Qouch for SABnzbd, CouchPotato & Sick Beard
Right it's "fixed" - it was neither Qouch nor my reverse proxy, the problem was CouchPotato had stopped updating itself, and was indeed rather out of date and suffering from the redirect bug (>2 months old). Now updated, looking slicker than ever but more importantly working with Qouch so ...

Re: [iOS] Qouch for SABnzbd, CouchPotato & Sick Beard
Make sure your proxy keeps SSL traffic intact. If you get redirected somehow to a non-SSL connection it may spawn that error for your own protection. (As it might mean somebody is trying to spoof you into using non-SSL traffic.) The problem in this regard really is with your proxy or how you have A...

Re: [iOS] Qouch for SABnzbd, CouchPotato & Sick Beard
I'm still getting the SSL error (error 400 - this server tried to speak HTTP to an SSL-enabled server port).
I've tried with/without SSL but neither work.
I am using a reverse proxy on Apache under Ubuntu.

Re: LazyLibrarian: Automate your ebook/author collection
github user itsmegb has taken over the project, the new url is https://github.com/itsmegb/LazyLibrarian Does it work?? Just installed it under Ubuntu 12.04 (64bit) and it seems to work fine. It only supports NewsNab and NZBMatrix at the moment, but if/when it supports more index sites and/or torren...

Re: [iOS] Qouch for SABnzbd, CouchPotato & Sick Beard
For everyone having errors connecting to CouchPotato V2, which unfortunately are a lot of you, you should be happy to know that I submitted a new update that fixes a lot of bugs regarding the CP V2 integration, and adds some new features. Apple is a bit on the slow side the last month, so expect th...

Re: [iOS] Qouch for SABnzbd, CouchPotato & Sick Beard
I have just migrated my movie list from CouchPotato v1 over to v2 only to find it isn't working with Qouch - the error I'm getting is different to those above and seems to indicate a problem with the SSL implementation - it says that Apache received a request in HTTP when the server was expecting HT...

Re: [iOS] Qouch for SABnzbd, CouchPotato & Sick Beard
It should be noted that if you use Apache for authentication then you should turn off authentication in each of the apps or you will be prompted twice for authentication. It is good practice to protect internet facing services in Apache with at least Basic HTTP Authentication. My services are all pr...

Re: [iOS] Qouch for SABnzbd, CouchPotato & Sick Beard
A reverse proxy allows you to run services which usually rely on a port being open (for example SABnzbd runs on port 8080) on the standard HTTP or HTTPS port. This means you can have many services running on a single port and as such less entry into your system for hackers to exploit. Instead of SAB...

Re: [iOS] Qouch for SABnzbd, CouchPotato & Sick Beard
If you go to https://www.grc.com/x/portprobe=8080 with the firewall disabled (assuming SABnzbd is running on its default port) does it show the port as open?
If you then enable the firewall and run the check again - what is the result?

Re: [iOS] Qouch for SABnzbd, CouchPotato & Sick Beard
The WAN/external IP is the one you should enter in Qouch - you can use something like Dyn.com to ensure you can always reach that IP should it change. I wouldn't personally recommend disabling your routers firewall but if you are running Windows then that will offer some protection as you say from t...

Re: [iOS] Qouch for SABnzbd, CouchPotato & Sick Beard
Well here's an example of how to forward a port on your particular router - just substitute port 22 in the example below for the relevant ports for SABnzbd, SickBeard and CouchPotato and you're laughing... http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/ZyXEL/P-2602HW-D1A/SSH.htm In the form,...

Re: [iOS] Qouch for SABnzbd, CouchPotato & Sick Beard
@vozzie That sounds like you haven't forwarded the ports. Port forwarding allows access to internal services from the internet - so the fact that you can connect inside of your network but not outside sounds like this is the issue. How you forward ports is different by router make/model but if you v...

Re: [iOS] Qouch for SABnzbd, CouchPotato & Sick Beard
SSL works absolutely fine here. Make sure the "Use SSL" switch is turned on and;
If you are using a reverse proxy, use your web servers SSL port (usually 443) or
If you are accessing SABnzbd directly, use the SSL port defined in SABnzbd's settings.
