THe FreeBSD sabnzbd package has a dependency on par2cmdline instead on par2cmdline-turbo.
IS there an easy way to install ith while using par2cmdline-turbo? Maybe by changing some config and compiling?

Re: ICE ECC Support?
There is no 64bit version because it contains hand written 32bit assembler code that would have to be rewritten for 64bit.

Re: Prefer par2 over backup servers?
Wouldn't it be enough to download all available data like there is no backup server available and then load what is needed for par2 repair from the backup server(s)?shypike wrote:That's a) very complicated and

Re: ICE ECC Support?
I didn't test ICE ECC, but just looking at the Test A from its ohw homepage (http://www.ice-graphics.com/ICEECC/IndexE.html) I don't see why it should be much better. So QuickPar takes 03:14 and ICE ECC 02:37. 37sec less. But QuickPAr is far from the fastest par2 tool. For example, phpar2 beats Quic...

Prefer par2 over backup servers?
I have one request that I would find cool. I think it could be hard to implement, but maybe it is possible to add when implementing backup server priority . Most people that use a backupserver have a main server for which they have some sort of flatrate and one or more backup severs where every down...

Re: Sab crashes Windows 8 when large file is downloaded
I have Windows 8 and no such problems, even with big files.
Most likely a RAM problem I guess.

I did enable this particular feature only very recently and I don't tend to report bugs without proper checking that it is not only based on my stupidity!shypike wrote:Too bad that you didn't report it sooner.

"Check before download" loses category/settings
I have this problem in 0.7.5 and had it in 0.7.4. If "Check before download" is enabled and the category/post-processing of a download is changed before the check is finished, this change is lost. Setting the category when adding the NZB works. But I often add nzb files by double click ins...

For me, phpar2 is much faster than anything else, even faster than the 64bit version!
I would suggest to use phpar2 as default on every x86 and AMD64 Windows machine!
