Apologies - I was in a cheeky mood earlier....
I guess I just love how geeky sabnzbd is, with its switches/settings that need configuring.....

Re: Newbie Question
Hey, it's never too late to improve it, right? As long as the version number is less than 1.0, I'm inclined to view a program as still being fairly immature with lots of room for improvement. What are you after - really?? I download an nzb, tell browser where to save it, then sabnzbd grabs it, queu...

Re: Where is the error likely here??
Thanks - I didn't download the sample, when looking for high def stuff, I size restrict the nzb index to cut through the dross - I guess in this case getting the sample would have helped though? 44 blocks that wasn't needed from the par2 set.... might try it again later on....

file join error??
I downloaded a large mkv (24GB), it was divided into 170 odd 150MB parts, numbered - movie.mkv.000, movie.mkv.001 etc to movie.mkv.172.... The post processing failed with "File join of Expected size did not equal actual size failed" Normally the .000 isn't part of the archive, but it was i...

Re: Where is the error likely here??
Any strategy based on guessing the missing percentage based on what's already downloaded is very unreliable. It assumes patterns in missing articles. For sure.... may just give you an idea I guess, for those of us on download limits, it may just make us keep looking for an alternative dl..... :) No...

Re: Where is the error likely here??
nzbindex.nl didn't report any deficiencies, the annoying thing is that every RAR file showed up as dead on 200MB as they were being downloaded (I was keeping an eye on it, thinking all was grand!)then to find I missed by 40MB in 14GB.... I checked it with a different par2 client, exactly the same re...

Where is the error likely here??
Looking for a little advice.... I was trying to dl a 14GB mkv file today (72 rar parts, with par2 set) Ended up 11 repair blocks short, pretty much every rar file was corrupt, missing 2-5 repair blocks or so. I tried re-downloading the worst affected rar file, only to get the identical error from 3 ...

Pause when x meg downloaded??
As another poor unfortunate on a download quota (400G/month - how quickly we forget dialup!), I'm in favour of ways of managing this.... how about a quick option, say with the "Pause for" box, to "Pause after" - could be time or download amount based..... Sorry if this has been r...
