Re: Port reset on each reboot
Ok that was fast. Once I realised that port 5000 is not the default sabnzbd port but instead a port I must have chosen, I went back to the installation instructions. There I noticed this file: /etc/default/sabnzbdplus: # This file is sourced by /etc/init.d/sabnzbdplus # # When SABnzbd+ is started us...

Port reset on each reboot
For some reason after every boot my sabznbd.ini gets rewritten to port 5000. If I change it to something else (e.g. port 5050) it works 100% after I restart sabznbdplus. However when I restart the system it will reset and modify the timestamp of the .ini file. My other settings (e.g. servers, catego...

Re: Sab not using backup server
Hi there! Hmm, so I have noticed that this depends on the usenet service provider. I did a little test and my regular provider had about 450 missing on a 1.2 GB file. I opened 3 trial accounts and used the exact same setup with the optional fill server. The download failed on one (100 missing) and s...

Sab not using backup server
Hi there I have a block account on a provider that should have the downloads I need (nextgen). Unfortunately I just had a failed download that is missing 453 articles and is 33 days old. When I checked sab I saw that the backup server had 0 bytes used today. So clearly sab is not using it even thoug...

Re: Single file
Thanks for replying. It did manage to complete the job with the enable quick check disabled. Did not come to the deletion of the offending parts but will keep it in mind, thanks!

Single file
So I was doing a large multi file download that I split into nzb's of 50 files each (each have their own parts and par2). Unfortunately the third part has 2 sub-items that refuse to par2. Now my job gets kicked to the failed status leaving the other 48 downloads repaired but not unpacked. How do I t...

Re: Web portal repeatedly asks for authenticati on Chrome
I've never had a problem with Chrome, but SABconnect++ had been giving the same problem until I read this thread. I checked and sure enough the url was http://blah.blah.com:****/sabnzbd/ When I removed the last / (i.e. http://blah.blah.com:****/sabnzbd ) everything worked properly again. Just check...

Re: Transfering Sabnzbd config to other os
Thanks, great support!
Do you advise to run setup again and then copy the files. Or do you advise NOT to run a setup and just copy the program (I have it in .rar from backup).

How to get SABnzbd to unpack completed partial downloads
Ok so I added a large nzb file to SABnzbd that is in fact a collection of different episodes.
Now I would like sabnzbd to start unpacking episode 1,2,3, etc since they are done. I do not want to wait till it has completed 20 GB.
Is there anyway to force this?
