Re: OS of the actual folder location. (Stripping illegal cha

Clean-up could be improved for folder names, but not for file names. Folder names alone would already fix 90% of the issues . There's already the custom length in place that's very handy , I'm sure a "worst case scenario" flag for the stripping of folder names would be doable as an interm...

Re: OS of the actual folder location. (Stripping illegal cha

forking in git Of course , but i'm hoping for a somewhat more elegant solution that could be implemented in time. As a stop gap measure , like I indicated in my original message , always stripping for a worst case scenario is fine . Bit in that case I would also hope for that modification to be put...

Re: OS of the actual folder location. (Stripping illegal cha

Stripping illegal characters of folders is already being done.. This is what I'm talking about: In misc.py : ################################################################################ # sanitize_filename # ################################################################################ if sabn...

OS of the actual folder location. (Stripping illegal chars)

This hovers somewhere between a bug and a missing feature I suppose , so for form's sake I'll mention it here. As sabnzbd+ works now , the feature that strips illegal characters and replaces them by allowed ones polls the OS sab is installed on to determine which characters to replace. This gives an...

Date/Time of unpacked files. Post processing option.

Hello. Today I came across an issue with a program that uses sabnzbd for downloading. The problem being , the files that were packed inside the archive had the date/time of the computer that packed them. Which was 6 hours into the future. The problem that gave is that said files would not be process...

Re: Vista Sidebar Gadget

I know this project isn't supported by T3chDad anymore , but for the sake of anyone new planning to use this I decided to mention this bug. I currently have a 134 long queue of downloads. The sidebar gadget throws various exceptions and out of bounds errors when running . If someone decides to pick ...

Re: newznab - open source usenet indexer and all round nzbs.

Hello, I was looking at the newznab code in a movie retrieval program earlier this week , I was wondering , since newznab keeps media info in it's database , if it would be an easy step to give subtitle and audio langauges as an attribute by default if that info is available when doing an api search...

No window on black hole copy (not really an addon )

On windows , while cleaning up my computer today I had a sudden burst of annoyance at the fact that clicking on a nzb file to copy it to my watch folder on another computer opens - although only for a fraction of a second - a command window. I've removed these things for the purpouse of running psex...
