Thank you for the reply........... I apparently screwed this one up. Then I removed sabnzbdplus. Then I reinstalled sabnzbdplus. Then I was followed directions and thought I was done. Restarted and get this (at https://pastebin.ubuntu.com/p/6wRVPs8bgX/) every time I try and run it. I have now done t...

API key missing, please enter the API key from Config-
I have three programs running (I think). Thre is sabnzbd, firefox, and thunderbird. I cannot figure out where the config might be in either firefox or thunderbird (I am not sure but I don't think its in sabnzbd). I have tried to find api's in both and failed.

Re: New Installation - wizard question
Thank you for the reply........... Its pretty strange. the sabnzbd.ini is in a file called .sabnzbd There are three or four other files there are I can open, move, and edit any one of them. But when it comes to the .ini file I am flat out stopped. VERY strange! I should also mention that I can open ...

Re: New Installation - wizard question
I have run fsck on the ssd. Said there was a problem but it got fixed. Still having problems trying to deal with sabnzbd.ini. It also says that its: Binary (application/octet-stream) There is also a sabnzbd.ini.bak but, I think, it needs a different program to open it.

using sabnzbd.ini from another installation
I blew up a system which had a functional sabnzbd running. I have the files from that machine but I cannot, for instance, either move or open the sabnzbd.ini file. I am currently installing sabnzbd and am wondering if it is possible to move, open, refer to the sabnzbd.ini file from a file from the w...

New Installation - wizard question
I am currently running on ubuntu 22.04 I am trying to install sabnzbdplus My problem is a bit different. I blew up a computer that had everything on it. complete and category directories
When complete is set then it also becomes the beginning of the settings for category addresses.
My question is if this can be overwritten/changed with a different address which does not use any part of the complete setting.
Thoughts?

Re: The apt_key
Thank you..........
I think I saw, one time, where the user could change or get another one too. I was just wondering if that is where they come from, no place else. Apparently that's the case!
Thanks again!

The apt_key
I have completely screwed everything up. I need to know where, exactly, that thing, the apt_key, comes from. I have a genuine mess and want to get an acceptable apt_key and then distribute back to sonarr and radarr as I have screwed them up too.
Thank you...........
Thank you...........

Re: location for download
nzbget uses 'download' when it has a problem. I also got nzbget failures. Seems, over the years that nzbget has made some changes that I didn't - now fixed, tests seem ok. We will see........

Re: location for download
None of it makes much sense. There is no 'download' in the ini file nor in sonarr as much as I can tell. Its a mystery. I just got a notice there was an extraction error. That will have come from Sonarr but am not sure. I will give your suggestion a try.
Thank you for the reply!

Re: location for download
I thought I would just send my sabnzbd.ini which might show what I have done wrong.
https://pastebin.com/JS5eW009
Right now sonarr would like to visit sabnzbd but its not happening. I have it pretty screwed up I fear.
