Re: Formatting for newzbin_url special setting

It's nph-proxy.cgi a web based proxy (just encapsulates stuff i believe).

I know SAB doesn't support a proxy, But this not a proxy in that sense, Just appends a bit to the URL.

I don't think I have that in my sabnzbd.ini Sander, Though will check when I get home.

Re: Virgin Media block of Newzbin2

I'm looking into the possiblilty of using the newzbin_url special config in the newer versions of SAB.

I've asked for confirmation of the syntax, Once that has been done it should allow it to work via a web proxy URL, meaning no VPN's etc to get onto newzbin2.es

Re: Weird error message

Are you on Virgin Media?

If so, They're implementing a block of newzbin2.es (badly it seems so far..)

I've made a topic to look at fixing it.

Re: Web Server questions

You will need to use port forwarding.

Set this up on your router, Port forward a port (8080, 1234, 34343 anything >1024 will be good) to the IP of your SABNZBD server port 8080.

I'd recommend setting a username / password (strong one!)

Formatting for newzbin_url special setting

Good evening, I am on Virgin Media and ofcourse can no longer access Newzbin. I am looking at using the Special Setting inside sab to use a cgi proxy to do this. I have tried adding the URL with / without http:// and it's not working, Any clues? It's running purely on port 80, http://xxxxxxx.xxxxxxx...
