Re: Help: Sabnzbd crashing on MAC 10.6.2 Snow Leopard

The issue I was running into was definitely the bug you mentioned with the browser being open. Testing on the ppc ibook 10.5 last night was good. I was able to download 5 files over a 1GB each with no crashes. It did pickup a show from sickbeard during the night, and crashed during the download, but...

Re: Help: Sabnzbd crashing on MAC 10.6.2 Snow Leopard

Thanks, I'll limit to 1500 while performing the tests you've given. If I set the log to debug how do I review when it hangs? can I pipe to a file on the desktop to review upon hang? or am I limited to waiting for the app to successfully start again? it there a log file I can watch in terminal? I do ...

Re: Help: Sabnzbd crashing on MAC 10.6.2 Snow Leopard

I will try the steps you've suggeste...

Re: Help: Sabnzbd crashing on MAC 10.6.2 Snow Leopard

I'm seeing this on 10.6 and 10.5, I have two machines, and each are failing the same way. History: Setup up SABNZDB on a an iBook ppc running 10.5 - Sab version 0.6.15 - on this machine sickbeard is installed as well - *** I can reproduce this issue with or without sickbeard running though This was ...

Re: Help: Sabnzbd crashing on MAC 10.6.2 Snow Leopard

Almost immediately after a download starts it crashes sab and then locks up the whole machine ... all networking functionality drops and the machines need to be physically restarted.

pings to these machines fail as well until a reboot - returning host is down

Re: Help: Sabnzbd crashing on MAC 10.6.2 Snow Leopard

I am seeing this issue on an intel 10.6 mac and ppc 10.5, running 0.7.3 of sabnzbd, this happens without any other apps running, downloading to a local temp dir.

Re: SABnzbd freezes and then won't shut down. Stuck in

Thanks but I can't find a new thread on this topic. There are a few in this forum, but none seem to document a fix. I am seeing this issue on an intel 10.6 mac and ppc 10.5, running 0.7.3 of sabnzbd, this happens without any other apps running, downloading to a local temp dir. Almost immediately aft...

Re: Help: Sabnzbd crashing on MAC 10.6.2 Snow Leopard

Was any resolution found for this? I'm running into the same thing

as soon as a download starts my mac gets completely locked up, and only a restart will resolve
