Re: Using an SSD as an unrar/download drive
As all my PC upgrades are done for this year (except for this one), I'm considering getting an SSD just for Sabnzb as a download + extraction drive. That is, download and extract to the SSD only. Would that seriously speed up extraction speeds? Right now, a 15GB linux .iso takes 2min 20sec to unrar...

Re: SAB doesn't have a script setting in category settings
sabtosickbeard.py for linux sabtosickbeard.exe for Windows. You need to edit the script as well. Best practice is to make a scripts folder in your Sab install directory. Move the AutoprocessTv folder from you sickbeard install folder to the scripts folder. In side the autoprocessTV folder you will f...

Re: Server for Sabnzbdb
Check setting in sickbeard. You have to uncheck "Keep Original Files" In the Postprocessing config. Also you must disable sorting in Sabnzbd. The default setting in Sabnzdb work fine wheh using the sickbeard autoprocessTv script. You need only set the location of the script and the tv cate...

In the image the setting will not place shows in seasons folders. Change the drop down menu to sa...

Re: New download machine needed!
You can run SAB and the other addons you mention on a nas with no problem. Installing and setting up is easy on most. Usually you just install a package to your Nas. I only have experience with Qnap Nas and my home built Unraid server. Something like this would work..http://www.newegg.com/Product/Pr...

Re: How do you setup Sab on your home network?
You could set up a low power PC to handle everything. I set up a 199.00 Zotac Nano for a friend. It has a 1.8 ghz core and hdmi out. This is whats running on it. OS: Win7 Pro Xbmc Sabznbd Sickbeard Couchpotato Headphones (launched when needed not always running) When watching a movie when SAB is unp...
