Re: Simple Queue output (old API) changed structure

Thanks for your reply. If external apps just made the switch, they would break compatibility with <2.0.0, so having both structures available for a while would have been useful, but if it's not going to happen, at least now we know.

Simple Queue output (old API) changed structure

I'm not sure this should be in Bug Reports, so I apologize if it shouldn't. Anyway... The API was changed significantly with release 2.0.0, but according to the wiki, the old queue API (or "Simple Queue output") should still be available, to be deprecated in version 2.1.0 and eventually ph...

Re: Confused about filters...

Thanks for your reply. About the multiple keywords issue, what puzzles me is that I had the impression it worked that way until now. I know I can set multiple filters, but I think "my way" would make things easier. About the Preview button, I posted in that thread like you suggested, but I...

Re: wiki.sabnzbd.org - The SABnzbd Manual - Suggestions & Di

The Wiki mentions a Preview button to show the effects of filters on an RSS feed, but I see no button in the Web interface. Was the feature removed?

Confused about filters...

I haven't been using sabnzbd for two months, now I came back to it and the queue, while expectedly long, also looked wrong. Basically, tags that are supposed to be rejected were allowed to the queue. While confident that everything was working well before the two months break, I went to the Wiki to ...

Re: sabnzbd deletes par2 files before knowing if it needs th

What you say makes sense and is the way I would expect things to work. That's probably why I thought it was not a bad idea to include PAR2 files in the cleanup list. Now I was playing around with sab and par2 files to figure out how things work. Here's what I did: I imported a new NZB file while sab...

Re: sabnzbd deletes par2 files before knowing if it needs th

I am afraid the whole issue was caused by me including the ".par2" file extension in the Cleanup List. This probably happened when I noticed some leftover PAR2 files in the directory of a successful download. I apologize for not realizing this fact earlier. I now re-downloaded a release th...

Re: sabnzbd deletes par2 files before knowing if it needs th

It's not really the single NZB file. Before posting my last message I tried a number of random releases from nzbs.org and they all showed the same behaviour. Please let me know if you still want me to send one of the files.

Edit: email sent, just in case.

Re: sabnzbd deletes par2 files before knowing if it needs th

Ok, I just upgraded (it was not in my distro yet and I didn't know there was a new release). The problem is still there. I had a chance to understand what happens in further detail: as soon as the PAR2 index file is downloaded, the PAR2 repair files already on disk are deleted, while the ones still ...

sabnzbd deletes par2 files before knowing if it needs them

Here's the problem I'm having: when I download an NZB file which includes a PAR2 set, the PAR2 repair files are downloaded but then deleted, while the PAR2 index file is kept. This happens during the download, before sabnzbd can tell whether repair is needed or not. Therefore, whenever repair is act...

Re: No NZB upload & Couchpotato integration with 0.7.10 and

All right, I apologize for causing all the fuzz. This is a distro-related issue, not sabnzbd's fault. I'll bring it to the distro bug tracker. Thanks for trying to help anyway. Which Linux distro are you using? If you download the SABnzbd source package, unpack it and run it, it should work. With i...

Re: No NZB upload & Couchpotato integration with 0.7.10 and

That we use our own patched version is a point of contention with packagers. Sadly we have no choice due to CherryPy's issues. We'd love to use a standard version... Yes, that's the case with Gentoo, my distro. Their general policy is to unbundle as much as possible, and it seems they did a good jo...
