Re: What are the correct permissions for Sab on Synology?
I don't know exactly how things work on the Synology, but from SynoCommunity I know that the whole permissions issue is exactly what's keeping them from releasing new packages for DSM 6. Besides 777 everything and go from there, I am not sure what it has to be.. Thanks :) "And now, for the stu...

What are the correct permissions for Sab on Synology?
G'morning ;D (Christmas is approaching: donation time again for beer for you Sab devs :-* ). I have a problem (well, many, but only one to post here :D ): 1. Sab runs on Synology DSM6. 2. DSM was upgraded from 5.2 to 6.0 to make sure Sab would keep on running (given reports about how Sab wouldn't wo...

Pre-check says incomplete, yet binsearch shows complete?
G'day all :P Just a quick and simple question, and I apologize if this has been asked before and I overlooked that: I want to download a 600 days old file, 28GB. It shows as complete in binsearch, yet when Sab is doing the pre-check, it says it is only 83% available. I have an 1100 days provider, an...

Re: Run 'Check before download' in the background
It's not going to happen. It is way too complicated to implement and the benefit is too limited. If you're mostly interested in speed, use the "abort, when completion not possible" option. Thank you for the tip, I didn't know that, and will try it since it is exactly what I was wondering:...

Re: Synology - Cannot create final folder
Try to reset permissions and propagate these down. Make a normal user and group (= users) the owner of the master folder the files need to be moved to. It appears sometimes the permissions do get mixed up @ Synology (at least for me that was the case).

Re: How do I backup sabnzb?
I tried to find files in: Unix $HOME/.sabnzbd, as I am running Synology, which has (IPKG) Linux under the hood. But there is not Unix $HOME/.sabnzbd directory (?) Might this be different because it is Synology? You may be looking under the wrong user's home directory. It'll be under the home direct...
