Problem solved.
On advice from my ISP, I replaced the Cat 6 cable connecting the router to the PC. All is back to normal.

Re: Strange network behavior
Yes, all indexers (I have five). Not just browser, my net connected games lag badly. But downloads from servers are full speed as is Speedtest. Sites like Reddit load very slow, too.

Re: Strange network behavior
To (hopefully) clarify: It takes several minutes to load the TitanTV program guide. It trickles in at 0.5 MB/s while my network is rated for 100 MB/s. Running Speedtest gives around 100 MB/s, and SAB downloads from my news servers are full speed. But the download speed for an NZB file to get from an...

Re: Strange network behavior
When the browser is grabbing the actual NZB file, it goes slowly. Once SAB gets that NZB, it downloads at full speed. It's not just the browser, other programs that call home take long.

Strange network behavior
It takes a long time for an NZB to download (from any indexer). Just had an NZB of 7.5MB take three minutes. But the download of the requested files was at full speed, 100MB/s. I tend to think there might be some strange network settings beyond my grasp, but running a speedtest gives me my full band...

Re: Sonarr unpacking strangely, leaving empty undeleteable folders
I am an idiot. The title of this thread should be SABnzbd unpacking strangely, not Sonarr. That's on me.

Re: Sonarr unpacking strangely, leaving empty undeleteable folders
The number apparently was added by the indexer. The problem only occurred with files from one indexer. Sonarr uses three other indexers and causes no problems. I contacted the indexer in question and told them what was happening. They changed something, apparently, and it's not happening anymore. I ...

Re: Sonarr unpacking strangely, leaving empty undeleteable folders
I apologize for not being able to figure out how to post code. Tried several times. There's a limit on spaces here and I had to cut a lot out, not knowing what I was cutting. Help always appreciated, though this seems to have everyone stumped. i don't understand the six digit numbers appended to the...

SABnzbd unpacking strangely, leaving empty undeleteable folders
:-\ Using 3.7.2. Has been running perfectly on my Windows 10 computer until yesterday. I noticed it had left an _UNPACK folder in SAB Downloads as well as a folder without _UNPACK but with a six digit number after the title, like 885550 (each being different). I say each because several more folders...

Re: Extra files after download
Just a user here, but I hope I can help. If you're running Windows 10, you can see file extensions by clicking on View in Explorer, then click on Show File Extensions. Once you know what extensions have been saved, open the Config dialog in SABnzbd (it's a little gear to the right of the wrench just...

Windows Defender telling me not to install latest update
Might I assume this is a false alarm? I have 2.3.3 running fine, and don't remember getting this type of warning when that was installed. Windows protected your PC Windows Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk. App: SABnzbd-2.3.4...

Re: Easy guide to sorting/categories
So simply removing the %sn/ at the beginning ought to do the job for me! Will give it a try. Many thanks!!
EDIT - It worked! Thanks!

Re: Easy guide to sorting/categories
I would love it if each download would produce one folder, which would contain one episode in the SxxExx format. It seems like the string %sn/S%0sE%0e - %en/%sn - S%0sE%0e - %en.%ext should do that, but that yields a folder with the show name, within which are separate folders for each episode. Can ...

Program asking for my username and password
I recently installed SABnzbd on my linux based laptop. In Config, General, Tuning, I want to ask it not to downloas .sfv and .srr files, but it asked for my username and password, which I do not remember creating. How do I fix this?
