Re: Ubuntu "unusable rar file"

So ... hypothesis: the post has been DMCA-ed from mainstream newsservers by *replacing* articles with fake articles, causing the problems you experience Your hypothesis is not consistent with the claim that NzbVortex (Mac only) does process the download right. The problem seems specific to the plat...

Re: Ubuntu "unusable rar file"

OK, that's good. What if you run "unrar x *001.rar" (or something like that) in the directory containing the problematic rar files? Sorry for my late response, it has been quite busy at work and stuff! I have no really idea how to do this. Today i ran into the same problem again with a na...

Re: Ubuntu "unusable rar file"

the poster mentions that the file is packed with winrar 5.1, so is that the problem perhaps? Well ... have you tried if it works with unrar 5.11 for Linux from http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm ? PS: this is what it looks like on my Ubuntu ... so 'unrar' is pointing to unrar 5.11 sander@flappie:~$...

Re: Post processing script (ripsubtitles.sh)strange behaviou

chmod g+rw,o+r might be needed. It depends on which user account needs to read and show the subtitles. SABnzbd can correct the access rights of its final files too, see Config->Folders Permissions. (Explanation: http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/unix-permissions ) Turns out your solution worked! ;D I've adde...

Hi, I am using Sabnzbd under Ubuntu server, and everything works great except for one thing. I have a script for extracting the .srt file from a downloaded file (ripsubtitles.sh), and i have set it up in the categories section. I also have pointed out the folder where the script is located. ( under ...

Re: Update xbmc after sabnzbd finishes a download?

Is XBMC running all the time? My setup involves invoking xbmc periodically and it automatically sweeps through a folder where all the media is and it picks up the new stuff added. When I finish watching stuff, I delete the entry from the library+the file. Yes xbmc is running all the time indeed. I ...

Re: Rename unpacked files like the nzb name?

Have you enabled one or more categories in Generic Sorting? And are you assigning such a category to your movie job? Also, renaming for files will only work for mkv style files (so payload in one large file with possibly some secondary small files). It won't work for DVD images. List your exact Sor...
