As they have just posted, NewzBin will switch to https only in a couple of days, news post can be read here: http://www.newzbin.com/news/view/?nw_id=349
It would be nice if a new version of SAB could be out, supporting this before the switch

0.5.5 "remembers" shutdown on finish
After upgrading to 0.5.5, it seems like SAB "remembers" that I have set it to "Shutdown on finish", even after it has finished the original job. This is pretty annoying, as I normally download a couple of NZBs during my workday (with the machine shutting down when done), and then...

DOH!
I read Folder Setup under Advanced, and completely missed that one.
Thanks.

Detect categories in NZB watched folder
Seeing that NZBmatrix (or any other site), doesn't have support for categories yet, it would be really nice if there were some other way to categorize NZB files, without having to change it manually in the web frontend for all saved NZBs. I'm thinking of something along the lines of having a folders...

Re: SABnzbd Monitor, first public release
It hasn't been tested with 0.5 yet, I haven't read about 0.5 yet, so if there's been changes to the API, I haven't implemented them.
Will take a look, though

Re: SABnzbd Monitor, first public release
Could you PM me with the error report, a screenshot, or something?
I am running XP SP3, .NET 3.5, and have never had a problem like you describe.

Re: SABnzbd Monitor, first public release
Have you tried deleting the config file, and recreating it by starting the monitor again?

Re: SABnzbd Monitor, first public release
Total brainfart on my behalf, I forgot to change the pause/unpause/shutdown functions to use the API key, those are fixed now.
Thanks for the heads-up guys

Re: SABnzbd Monitor, first public release
It MIGHT be that I have forgotten to include the API key in the calls that work directly with SAB (blush)
I'll take a look, and i'll be back.

Re: SABnzbd Monitor, first public release
I have just updated the monitor to be able to work with 0.4.9+ (Added support for API key)
If you are updating, please remember to add the following line to your .cfg file, or alternately, delete the .cfg file and run SABnzbdMonitor.exe to create a new cfg file

[0.4.2] Category does not use correct mode
I have just started using the categories more extensively, and I have found out that SAB does not follow the criteria set up in the Categories setup. By default, I only have Repair on downloads, but for some categories, like TV, I have them set up for +Delete. When I retrieve a report from NewzBin, ...

Re: Reading "incomplete" NZB files fails
I'd rather use poor-man's locking, i.e. renaming the file before using it. I've done this, and it works, but maybe it should be mentioned in a FAQ / the docs, so people are aware of the potential problems. I'm no fan of implementing over-complex solutions for this particular problem. If people/prog...

Re: Reading "incomplete" NZB files fails
I just fell over this Python implementation of file locking / checking that might be useful for this problem
