Re: Slow since upgrade to 8Beta1
Ok, thx. I'll try all you mention. I think first I'll stop sab, uninstall unrar & par2, re-install then activate sab - measure. if no improvement I'll try 7.20.

Re: Slow since upgrade to 8Beta1
Ok, so i've also temporarily moved completed to local. No change It gets slow during unpacking. Is there a new switch somewhere in the config that 8beta1 introduced? Is there anything new in that area? What about the program that unpacks - is it the exact same version or has it been upgraded, too? W...

Re: Slow since upgrade to 8Beta1
When I login to the server: System information disabled due to load higher than 4.0 Normally my system load is in the decimal range - < .7 Currently sab is unpacking a file with 36 parts (1.7GB - on part 23/36.) Below is iotop output (post was too large): https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=ee38d8...

Re: Slow since upgrade to 8Beta1
I believe the slowdown is related to unpacking. I cleared out my queue and then changed the download/incomplete directory to local (home/<me>/...) and had sab retrieve a file. It's been in the unpacking phase for well over 40 minutes on a 882MB file (retrieved in 53 seconds). The unpacking is progre...

Re: Slow since upgrade to 8Beta1
Yes, the nfs is on my FreeNAS box - in the LAN. Funny - I've done that since... forever and I guess I've always just been lucky. Never an issue with the download/incomplete before. But I"ll take your advise and move it back to local. I'll do that first, run it, maybe something there is causing ...

Slow since upgrade to 8Beta1
Ever since upgrading to 8Beta1 my sabnzbd has been horribly slow. Sometimes I can't SSH into the box because it's unresponsive. I get: Unrecoverable error in the server. Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/share/sabnzbdplus/cherrypy/_cpwsgi.py", line 180, in trap return func(*arg...

Re: Seems to not download additional PAR2 when needed
In the log files I see:
/usr/bin/par2: error while loading shared libraries: libtbb.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
added libtbb.so.2 to /usr/bin/, tested via downloading a file I've been looking for and so far, it's working. Will test more overnight.

Re: Seems to not download additional PAR2 when needed
I was reading the forum last night and one of the admins told the OP to turn off the sample detection because it was kinda hinky at the moment. So I copied suite and also disabled the sample detection. here is a debug log from the system. Maybe it will show something: https://onedrive.live.com/redir...

The download just finished from the above example. After it completed download: 14 X *.rar files 1 X 11kb *.par2 6 X *.volXX+YY.par2 files it moves the folder and contents from the temporary "incomplete" location to the "completed" folder where normally Sick Beard picks it up, re...
