Interestingly i'm unable to save new server parameters, perhaps because it tests the connection upon saving. I've tried ping the domain for astraweb and using the returned ip address in my server setup and that doesn't work either. I'll keep investigating what my problem might be. Thanks -------- Ed...

Ah ok, well that's good to know. Could you elaborate a but more about what you mean with dns issues then? Or perhaps point me to somewhere I can read up on it more.

Yes I can ping the nas box ip from both routers. I'm a little confused how to set up the port forwarding if one router is connected to another and then to the nas box.
