Interestingly i'm unable to save new server parameters, perhaps because it tests the connection upon saving. I've tried ping the domain for astraweb and using the returned ip address in my server setup and that doesn't work either. I'll keep investigating what my problem might be. Thanks -------- Ed...

To add more context, I have dhcp disabled on my 2nd router and I've put the 2nd routers static ip outside the range of the first. I've assigned a static ip to the nasbox which falls within the first routers ip range. I can access this ip and sabnzbd from each router and can ping from both. The newsg...

Ah ok, well that's good to know. Could you elaborate a but more about what you mean with dns issues then? Or perhaps point me to somewhere I can read up on it more.

Yes I can ping the nas box ip from both routers. I'm a little confused how to set up the port forwarding if one router is connected to another and then to the nas box. I assume just forwarding the newsgroups port to the nas boxes ip is enough. I've set this up on both routers but I think suspect it ...

Issues with new router setup
Having issues getting SABnzbd to connect to my newsgroup provider. I changed my router setup to be a new modem/router, into a homeplug, then into another router which connects to my nasbox (sabnzbd) I've done the usual and opened up port 563 for my news provider.
