I appear to simply have had astoundingly bad luck with my binaries, just had a couple work fine. Anyone have any tips to avoid such things in the future? I'm new to this business and all I can think of are to go for the newest possible set and avoid anything that doesn't seem to be the right size.

I have since tried Grabit and haven't had any more luck. Would someone be interested in posting a link to a small one that they know works?

I'm having the same problem, even on files only a few days old. I am also on the Giganews trial. My downloads folders are C:\Users\Dahak\Downloads\Usenet\complete and C:\...\incomplete.
