Re: Cloud Install
FYI, Plex runs "in the cloud" on Google Drive (not localy) No, Plex Cloud runs on Microsoft Azure servers (at least mine did) and simply connects to Google Drive via APIs. What sander said still applies. If you really want to use Google Drive storage locally for sabnzbd, you can use the G...

Re: Cloud Install
You can download to your Google Drive folder. The folder is not in the cloud, it is a local directory that is synced to the cloud. Using it for frequently updated files is problematic, GDrive doesn't handle live data as well as say, Dropbox. Either way, you could simply backup your data instead of s...

Re: Download speed and CPU
Layered Tech decided they couldn't honor my server rental price anymore, so I lost my server, however in IRC every once in a while someone reports the same issue.

NZB Meta field
Many indexers use a meta field in the actual NZB file to denote category. Example: <head> <meta type="category">Movies > BluRay</meta> Newznab currently has sab integration Are there any plans to actually make use of this semi-standard field, in cases where there is no RSS, and an explicit...

Re: Using Ecomode, Flatrate with sabnzbd
The folks over in #sabnzbd recommend Supernews and Astraweb. If you're looking for a provider at the $10 price, they are the best two for many reasons. Supernews allows up to 2 IPs per account (currently). As always, a backup server is recommended. I use Blocknews for that.

Re: Refuses to open
gmbp on IRC mentioned same versions and same issue, although with an error. I did see this once, and it's likely related: 2011-12-05 00:34:52,832::INFO::[panic:243] Lauching browser with None 2011-12-05 00:34:52,832::WARNING::[panic:247] Cannot launch the browser, probably not found 2011-12-05 00:34...

Re: Refuses to open
I'd tried troubleshooting this via IRC/teamviewer. This also didn't work on .6.11. The sab process runs: /Applications/SABnzbd.app/Contents/MacOS/SABnzbd -psn_0_798915 I've tried running via the local IP, 127.0.0.1, localhost, and various ports: 8080, 8081, 8085. Running manually with -l 2 and -w 1 ...

Re: Using Ecomode, Flatrate with sabnzbd
so for people like me who still have a 5month usenet.nl contract left and cannot change the provider before: Is it possible to work with SABNZBD in Eco / Powermode of usenet.nl or will everything be counted as powermode until it is depleted and then continue in ecomode? You can certainly change pro...

Most of the decent indexers will let you read the nfo file on the website.

Re: sabnzbd crashes my hard drive
But i have no Raid or whatsoever :D And it happens only with sabnzbd. Perhaps anyone has an idea whtat i can try :) You don't have any array setup...so you have 3 drives with individual drive letters? (D:, E:, F: for example) Which drive fails? If you change sab to a different drive, does that one ...

Re: sabnzbd crashes my hard drive
It sounds like a problem with your drives or your Windows install and not something with sabnzbd - the program is simply saving files to the disk as any other would. Unless you can access the drives from Windows, it really isn't sabnzbd's fault your drives got dismounted. I'm not aware of any bugs w...

Should probably be in the freebsd forum. I'm building one out this week, will make a wiki guide step by step
