FYI, coincidentally I downloaded a couple of new TV shows, around 80 NZBs in total, and zero issues so far. I think previously I would have expected at least 2-3 files to fail.

Done, and direct unpack re-enabled... will keep an eye on it and let you know.

I re-enabled Direct Unpack after reading the later messages here and the problem has re-occurred with a couple of downloads last night. Could you try again with Direct Unpack disabled? Done. Note that this doesn't happen all the time... a rough estimate is maybe 5% of all downloads fail this way, and as I mentioned before it's not reproducible (i.e. the same NZB which failed may later succeed). I'm trying to post a new topic which includes a SABnzbd log excerpt inside a "code" block, and I'm getting the above message. There are no links in the log, just file paths.
