Re: Unable to Rename Sample+ file

There's a bunch of these out there now, and I'm getting these errors as well. I'm sure they're all the same uploader, or maybe some uploading script that has been distributed. The error occurs with both the latest SAB 3.1.1 and even back to at least 2.3.9, both of which are using linux, however ther...

Re: Is my download corrupt?

It doesn't have anything to do with SABnzbd or the repair/extraction process, it has to do with the people who encoded/released the file. TrollHD is known to have done a bunch of botched Amazon rips recently, and that's probably what happened. You could try playing it in an alternative program than ...

Re: Subcategories with a default handler?

I agree with you that it makes sense to sort by subcategories first, and then the overall category to catch everything else. That seems like the correct reasoning to me. FWIW, there are really only like 3 or 4 more categories you would care about though, so as an alternative I don't think it would t...

If the Usenet and Indexer forums are any indication, many of them literally have no idea :D

Re: AUTO Convert MKV, AVI etc to MP4 Using Sonarr and SabNzb

The only thing I can think of is to strip the last 4 characters, which is doable for normal variables, but I think might not work with %%i, or at least would get real messy real fast. Examples on how to rename variables: http://ss64.com/nt/syntax-replace.html Since you got the script from reddit ori...

Yep, sounds like you've got the hang of it now. If you're only looking for brand new stuff then Frugal is reliable, inexpensive, and the owner is active on a lot of forums.

omgwtfnzbs is an indexer, what you need is a usenet provider. Take a look here:

Re: Process Packing Failure?

The .xx files are RAR files, but maybe those Mac applications can't figure that out. Maybe try renaming a few of the manually to .r01, etc, and see if it tells you some others are missing. If that works, then you could just manually rename all of them and attempt repair/extraction.

Re: Process Packing Failure?

He's saying to download all of the files without letting SABnzbd do any processing. Then go into the directory where the files are located and manually run a par2 check using a third party program. I don't have a Mac, but doing some quick Googling it seems like there's a couple of options: https://g...

Re: Weird thing with speeds

What does 700 or 500 mean? You need to set it in K/M/G notation. So 5M would be 5 megabytes/second.

@safihre, just a thought, but you should probably add a note that says K/M/G is required when people select Speedlimit from the dropdown.

If you click the Pattern Key button under Series Sorting you can see what everything means and then add/remove from there.
