Re: speeding up unrar?

unrar is almost entirely disk-bound. fastest way to speed it up is to use faster disks. if you can, separate the source drive from the destination drive (separate physical disks). i download to my SSD and unpack to a regular 7200rpm disk connected on firewire-800. things that used to take 10 minute...

Hi, First of all, I love your software and have been using it for ages, it's reliable, flexible, easy to use and has a great community. I would like the option to see statictics, such as: - Average download speed - Average download time, maybe even filter by category The data you need is already the...

Re: Email when item added to queue

Do you mean next release maybe or are we talking months lol?

I don't mean to sound pushy but I think this would be a major problem for most people.

I appreciate you considering this and hope you get around to it as soon as you can  ;D

Email when item added to queue

Hi, I was just wondering if I could have a feature to send an email when a job is added to the queue. Reason: Using the automatic RSS I get duplicate downloads sometimes, because the same TV show might have been released from two sources. Re: Cant access from WAN

Hmmm I just tried port 8080 and it works fine.

Yeah, I could always access it from other PC's in my LAN. No firewalls here either.

Re: Sign up to become an Official SABnzbd Tester

I would like to become a beta tester, I work in the networking field and will be running it on a Server 2008 R2 machine with RAID5. I am available at all times through email and can jump on the forums at anytime.

Thanks
