Re: History skips items
Did you fully disable your automation? Sonarr can do this for example, even for manually added jobs it will try to process them and then remove the from history. I thought I had, but on closer inspection I saw that a version of SickSomething still had the API key. I wasn't aware of it running, but ...

History skips items
Hi, I considered filing a bug report, but I thought it's better to check first perhaps. I'm a long time user of SABNzbd, but lately I've problems with the completeness of history (version 3.7.1). I used to automate my downloads, but I don't do that any longer. I enter my downloads manually. There is...

start-up and stop script new version SABnzbd 2.3.3 for Synology
Hi, I don't know if this is the right place to ask about the new SynoCommunity version of SABnzbd (2.3.3). All works well, but I wonder how I can start and stop SABnzbd via SSH on the Synology DiskStation. (I have a DiskStation that performs rather poorly, so I'm in the habit of regularly killing pr...

Thanks for the new SynoCommunity version 2.3.3 of SABnzbd
Thanks to all who worked at the package of version 2.3.3 of SABnzbd for the Synology DiskStations. I must say I'm always a bit wary to install new versions of apps on my DiskStation if they are not from Synology Inc. And I couldn't find much information on user experiences with the new update. The w...

Re: renaming TV shows with obfuscated filenames
Thanks, @safihre. I've been looking at the code for 2.3.2 and I see this problem has now been, uh... sorted (sorry for the wordplay... ;D ). I DO use sabnzbd 2.3.1 which is, I think, the latest package offered by Synocommunity, but which still has the bug that "%dn" is notinterpreted as th...

Re: renaming TV shows with obfuscated filenames
Update: i tried to use the same pattern ("%dn.%ext") for Date Sorting. However, now the resulting file is named "09n.mkv". Which makes sense, as %d supposedly stands for the day and this show was, indeed, from the nineth. In the sabnzbd wiki, this pattern, "%dn.%ext", i...

Re: renaming TV shows with obfuscated filenames
Thanks, @safihre. I have sorting enabled for TV shows, and it works fine, except for one show of which the episodes are named as "My.Show.yyyy.mm.dd". I don't know if that's a coincidence, but that's the only common denominator i see for failing renames. (The download is the right category...

Re: renaming TV shows with obfuscated filenames
Update- Looking into it, I really don't understand why some of my shows, named like "My.Show.yyyy.mm.dd" are not renamed. Because I just use "%dn.%ext" as a pattern, so SABnzbd doesn't need to "understand " of what parts the name consists. So I really don't understand w...

Re: renaming TV shows with obfuscated filenames
I tried to update my previous post, but the edit got refused: "New users cannot post links". I'm sure I didn't post a link, so I don't know what to do.

renaming TV shows with obfuscated filenames
Hi, I'm running SABnzbd 2.3.0 on DSM 6 on a Synology. I've recently discovered on this forum that sorting can be used to rename obfuscated filenames to a sensible filename based on the nzb name. I use this for TV shows now and this covers about 80% of these filenames. However, some groups insist on ...

@Vodka2 Your reasoning skills are decidedly weak. Do you drink too much... erm... vodka, perhaps? The assumption you make is based on a logical fallacy, named 'post hoc ergo propter hoc'.
