Thanks for the quick replies.
Disabling AV is not something any Windows users should imo, do, but I tried running the console via command line and it wouldn't do anything.
I fully uninstalled it, rebooted and reinstalled 4.3.2 and it's working again.
Not sure what happened here.

Re: Cannot connect :-(
No firewall and using Avast and malware bytes. Pretty minimal.
Are you saying the virus scanner may be the culprit? And if so, what steps will resolv?

Re: Cannot connect :-(
I'm receiving this too today:
"unable to bind to port 8080 on 127.0.0.1"
Windows 11, via Chrome.
Was running 4.3.1 and tried upgrading to 4.3.2 to no avail.
http://localhost:8080/sabnzbd/ just spins at 'loading'.
No VPN.

Re: Failed making...all nzbs
Well, shutdown and manual restart solves the issue and I think I know the reason. Windows 10 and permissions douchebaggery. Even though I have the shortcut set to 'run as administrator' i think when Windows auto launches it after a reboot, it's not launching with admin rights. Anyone else seeing thi...

Failed making...all nzbs
Fresh Windows 10 install, Sab version 2.3.8 [0dd1f64] and as of today when I grab an nzb it immediately goes to this error: "Failed making (D:\Media\Downloads\incomplete\<SHOW>.S01E01.1080p.HDTV.h264-SFM)" This morning was working fine, only change is I rebooted :) All the threads I saw di...

Re: *SOLVED* New Windows 10 install - how to have Sab auto open nzbs from Chrome?
This link shows what was referenced and it worked for me. With the nzb downloaded and sitting at the bottom as a downloaded file, I did the step shown in the link and it worked for me: https://www.ghacks.net/2015/10/29/how-to-open-downloads-in-chrome-automatically/ If it's greyed out still, you migh...

Re: New Windows 10 install - how to have Sab auto open nzbs from Chrome?
This is a chrome thing, you can click on the little arrow on the right and then select "Always open files of this type directly". Something like that :) YES!! LOL, so awesome, thanks :) Of course that was it. Knew it something I missed, thanks a lot, this little thing has been bugging me ...

Re: New Windows 10 install - how to have Sab auto open nzbs from Chrome?
I rechecked and this was done, the nzbs show the sab icon and the file association is set.
It's been a couple years since I had to do anything with the config (yes I should have backed it up)
Would it be setting the downloads folder as a 'watched folder'?

*SOLVED* New Windows 10 install - how to have Sab auto open nzbs from Chrome?
Feels like a stupid question, but after upgrading my system to Win 10 from 7, when I grab an nzb from a site, it downloads to the bottom of Chrome but it used to auto load into Sab and begin downloading right after. Now I have to manually click it to load into Sab. Not sure if I'm missing a setting ...

Re: 2.2.1 uses much more cpu than 2.2.0
Installed Alpha 2 today and tested with a small 1gb download, seems better - will advise again after a larger download to confirm issue is either better or resolved. Thanks! EDIT: Confirmed after grabbing larger and multiple files, performance seems to be increased and not seeing lag in browser whil...

Re: 2.2.1 uses much more cpu than 2.2.0
I'm seeing a marked decreases in performance as well;r especially in my browser since the latest upgrade. Lag across my tabs in chrome even before the quickpar repair or extraction process begins which did not occur before the upgrade. No settings changed in quite some time other than the upgrade. I...
