Re: Restart required to pick up nzb files in watched folder?

So it's an external drive or a network drive? You're sure it's always connected? You say "it used to work". With the same SABnzbd version? Is there a version that still works OK for this issue? It's an internal drive so it's always on. It also picks them up on a restart of Sabnzbd. Unfort...

Re: Restart required to pick up nzb files in watched folder?

Well it would seem I'm not alone from the other poster.

The folder path couldn't be any simpler ;) Q:\nzbs

As I previously said there is nothing in the scheduler other than Pause and Resume.

As I say this used to work.

Re: Restart required to pick up nzb files in watched folder?

Which folder are you using exactly? I'm not sure what you mean? It's the folder I drop nzb files in, which is specified with a full path including drive letter. It's correct as it picks the files up on a restart, just never again from that point on. It's like it's not doing the check every 5s as it...

Re: Restart required to pick up nzb files in watched folder?

The scheduled event will stop the automatic scan. So you need to choose between that and the interval. The watched folder works like it always did. The last change to it was many versions ago. So as per my original question why isn't it working for me then? I have no scheduled event for it, just th...

Re: Restart required to pick up nzb files in watched folder?

No problem, it's the same issue. It used to work. It may have been the update to 0.7 that did it for me but I went through a period of not using Usenet.

Did you schedule a watched folder event?
It's the standard 5s.

I didn't realise I had to, I thought it did it automatically? It always used to.

Restart required to pick up nzb files in watched folder?

Hi all, I seem to have had a problem with sab for a while now, whereby the only way it will pick up new nzb files in my watched folder is to restart it. Any ideas why this might be? I just updated to 0.7.11 and it still has the same problem, even when reinstalling and starting it doesn't pick the fi...

Hmm that looks fine to me as I missed it out mine has: auto eth0 iface eth0 inet static address 192.168.1.2 netmask 255.255.255.0 network 192.168.1.0 broadcast 192.168.1.255 gateway 192.168.1.254 Doing ifconfig returns eth0      Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 00:22:68:64:5f:bd           inet addr:192.1...

Re: [Bug] 0.5.0 beta 1 always dies after about 1/2 minutes?

Oddly enough after putting 9.04 back on everything has worked fine.

I discovered the local loopback was missing from networking causing all number of web related stuff to fail.

Re: (Unofficial) Ubuntu repository for SABnzbd+

I've posted another bug over here.... https://forums.sabnzbd.org/index.php?topic=3066.new;topicseen#new Basically it starts and crashes after 30 seconds to a minute or so. 0.4.9 was fine :/ Right now that doesn't look like anything packaging related. Thanks for the reply. I'm flattening my box this...

I'll have a look in that thread as doing

Code: Select all

locate SABnzbd
returns nothing :(

Re: [Bug] 0.5.0 beta 1 always dies after about 1/2 minutes?

I just use /etc/init.d/sabnzbplus start ? Was working fine until the upgrade to 0.5.0 beta 1. It is the correct IP address...again it only stopped working with 0.5.0, 0.4.9 worked with Ubuntu 9.10 so it's the upgrade that has changed. Plus if the port was in use it wouldn't run and be accessible for...

[Bug] 0.5.0 beta 1 always dies after about 1/2 minutes?

Kind of annoying this one, updated yesterday on Ubuntu 9.10 and it keeps dying? Any ideas??
