Re: regexp doesnt seem to work well on sorting RSS on MAC OS X

i never understood how to use regexp and its syntax. i've been using regular wildcards (eg. 24.S07*) and rejecting "xvid" as my very first rule to parse through tvnzb.com's feed. works fine for me in grabbing HD eps except when there is the occasional REPACK and i might have 2 downloads. b...

Re: incorrect post-processing tasks for categories

been busy, but sorry to dredge up this topic: i don't think this issue has been corrected in 0.4.8 (for me at least). i just added a set of nzb's from the homepage and while the categories were populated correctly, the post-processing was not. minor inconvenience, but i just thought i'd bring this u...

Re: [OSX] 0.4.7 - Computer almost stops during postpro

stanpete, I'm curious as to the hardware you're running. Par2 repairing is a pretty intensive process, which can become apparent when multitasking; maybe your machine doesn't have the power for it? I certainly know my G4 Powerbook (basic desktop usage is slow as it is running Leopard...) doesn't so ...

Re: incorrect post-processing tasks for categories

sorry I have not responded (I'm subscribed to this thread, but didn't receive an email updating me).... I usually use the groups to assign categories for nzb's that are fed via RSS feeds, but lately have been adding some nzbs manually as well, which is when I first noticed the issue. Presently, the ...

Re: incorrect post-processing tasks for categories

OK, I think i can clarify a bit as I now realize that it is not exactly the same issue as before. I'm manually adding NZB's via the homepage, but I don't manually assign the nzb to a category via the drop-down menu option. Under Config>Categories, I have defined several newsgroups (alt.binaries...) ...

Re: incorrect post-processing tasks for categories

i think this issue is back in 0.4.7: nzb's added via the homepage are correctly assigned their category, but the post-processing defaults to the default setting.

Will downgrade too for now ... Please keep us posted if you find out what's causing this

Thanks, edd
This issue has resolved for me in 0.4.5 RC1, great job!

Re: incorrect post-processing tasks for categories

I don't set explicit parameters for PP or scripts, just the category. So it would seem that there is a bug with how PP and scripts are applied in the main page if there is a category assigned (ie. they're not using those defined by the category and in fact using those on the drop-down, which, if lef...

Re: incorrect post-processing tasks for categories

I just realized something: in the home page for the sabnzbd ui (smpl skin), where one can add nzb's via an url or an uploaded file, there are three columns of drop-down menus--category, post-processing (none, +R, +U, +D), and user scripts (if any). When I add files, I usually assign them to a catego...

incorrect post-processing tasks for categories

This issue is an intermittent one that I've encountered time to time. I have various download categories with different post-processing tasks (but no user scripts); some only repair (R) while others will unpack and delete (D) the original archive files. When I add nzb's via the webui (smpl skin) and...

Re: ERROR::[postproc] Error removing workdir

I've sent an email to you with some attachments (nzb, config, log files). This machine is a headless file server and all drives are physically attached via PATA/SATA connections. I mainly download TV episodes via this machine so I can't say whether this occurs with any other file categories. However...

Re: ERROR::[postproc] Error removing workdir

I wasn't trying to sound like an a$$ or anything, but just pointed out that there were no replies. In the meantime, I've gone back to 0.4.3, which is working OK for my purposes. What additional information would be needed?

Re: ERROR::[postproc] Error removing workdir

hmm...no help? for the past week, i've been using 0.4.3 with the same exact config file. no problems related to moving files and post-processing. of course, i'll have to deal with the bugs in 0.4.3 that were addressed by 0.4.4, but the problem with post-processing in 0.4.4 is a complete show-stopper...
