Re: How can I configure multiple watch folders?
You can use a sync tool like syncback pro or synctoy to grab files from your various systems via regular CIFS share and place them in the watch folder of your WHS. Tell the sync tool running on your WHS to sync \\random-pc\folder-where-you-DL-nzbs to the local watch folder. I use this technique for ...

Password protected archive detection
Any ideas how to turn off password protected archive detection? The feature is described here but doesn't mention how you flag a download as an exception. I have a download of a password protected archive that keeps getting detected and paused and flagged as [Encrypted]. If I have to keep unpausing ...

Re: Extreme resource utilization with the last couple RCs and now the final 0.5.2
This has been resolved. I downloaded the hotfix mentioned in this thread and that took care of any conflict between ESET and sab.

Re: Windows 7 memory leak
I have what I believe to be this issue on Vista 64. I just installed the hotfix and I will test and report. (Edit) So far my memory consumption has been normal and downloads through sab appear to be quite a bit faster as if my provider wasn't the bottleneck before. This hotfix is looking good for me...

Extreme resource utilization with the last couple RCs and now the final 0.5.2
Has anyone else noticed a severe degradation in performance when downloading large files (20-40GB) when sab goes to verify integrity/completeness and then extract the data? With the last couple versions it has had a brutal impact on my system. So much so that all 4 gigs of physical memory are consum...

Re: Blocking in beta .5
Tried it at your recommendation and it still happens unfortunately. Like I mentioned before, it didn't happen in beta .4 and earlier (at least as far as I could tell). Are there plans to make the app more tolerant of flaky servers with its default behavior? It would be nice if it would just use what...

Blocking in beta .5
As of beta .5 I am seeing the same blocking behavior in older versions (unreliable nntp servers causing all downloads to stall). If there is any additional info I can give to help, I'd be more than willing.

Re: API functionality and web session
Two big peeves with this software. 1. It requires the admin username and password to use the API. DUH that's why we have the API key, so we don't need to be storing those details anywhere, no other place that provides an API requires username, password, AND API key, please, show me one single o...

Thanks for taking the time to explain. I look forward to trying 0.5. Make sure you grab yourself a beer with the $20 spot I just donated. Cheers!

Re: Downloads consistently stall after 3.5 minutes
I think that's exactly what it was. This morning, all the servers are playing nice and not timing out so it isn't exhibiting that behavior. Is there a setting or tweak I need to apply to have it be more robust if one of my servers is being flaky so it doesn't hose up everything else and make me rest...

Re: Downloads consistently stall after 3.5 minutes
Like I mentioned in my post, I have 4 servers defined. One of them is the one I get free with my ISP and it always works. All 4 servers download at full speed for whatever duration I set the timeout to be and then abruptly stop. I have tried timeouts between 30 and 200 seconds and it is reproducible...
