Re: newznab - open source usenet indexer
How is the preview generated? I don't get it on a lot of videos. Is there a way to get more thumbnails for a single clip? I assume the preview is generated by ffmpeg, do you have it installed and the paths entered in the newznab configuration? Can you see if there is any correlation between the vid...

Re: newznab - open source usenet indexer and all round nzbs.
Which API are you using?
I don't know if it should make a difference but I am using the Full API with Site-wide Integration in my SABnzbd+ integration settings.
Also has your nzbfiles folder been chmodded to 777?

Re: newznab - open source usenet indexer and all round nzbs.
Did you find a solution for this? I am having the same issue. :( Are there any errors printed when you run #php update_binaries.php and #php update_releases.php ? No errors shown when updating. edit: I even took the link that gets sent and put it in a browser and it downloaded a perfectly fine .nzb...

Re: newznab - open source usenet indexer and all round nzbs.
I have a successfully running Neznab+ server and now I am trying to integrate it with sabnzbd, sickbeard and CP. However when I initially test it with sab it doesnt seem like they want to communicate. If i try to manually add a NZB from url it just sits in the queue and says Trying to fetch NZB fro...

Re: newznab - open source usenet indexer and all round nzbs.
So far the newznab program is working fine and I am happy I donated. I am only indexing a few groups right now and have about 180 days of backfill. However, I am not getting all the TV shows or new Movies. I am getting a lot of >Other categories. is there a list of newsgroups that should be indexed...

Is anyone else having trouble with the majority of filenames being gibberish? For example: bnedhe8utrh5tnbg9 Cnffjbeq Oynpx Fhaqnl erghb76565hf zed19997 ich26438 b23e2eca836b4822d34c55187c0c0d687f4f4edc9215cccad09f2ee4bc015db4 3d3ba5d70f8688c4862e447a7da148fd1d8f710ec3c21ab7894d17d0f84f36cb 79c092ed...

Re: newznab - open source usenet indexer and all round nzbs.
Just another FYI for FreeBSD users and maybe others: If you are having issues with gzopen be sure to have archivers/php5-zlib installed.

Re: newznab - open source usenet indexer and all round nzbs.
If I'm correct you have switched the Country/City in the php.ini. It should be Australia/Melbourne but you have set it to Melbourne/Australia switch that and see if it fixes things if not then I don't know any further hahah oops, yeh that was just a mistake in my post. I checked to be sure, it is d...

It should not have changed the value of the timezone but anyway: Look for this section in the php.ini: [Date] ; Defines the default timezone used by the date functions ; http://php.net/date.timezone date.timezone = Europe/Berlin Change it to the timezone that applies to you. And be sure to check if...

Re: newznab - open source usenet indexer and all round nzbs.
Hi all, I too have to show my love for newznab, I came across it just in time!! SABnzbd+ & newznab = Pure win! Anyone using apache22 on FreeBSD may like to note that you likely only need to put the below lines in your /usr/local/etc/apache22/httpd.conf file and ignore the Virtualhost lines in th...

Re: Startup error on OSX
[EDIT:] I just added this line to my sabnzbd.ini and it works :) LOCAL.IP.ADDRESS EXTERNAL.IP.ADDRESS I assume you changed this in /etc/hosts. Thanks Shypike, I just came back cos I had a sinking feeling I said sabnzbd.ini not /etc/hosts! :-[ Sorry, I was pretty busy at the time. I won't fix the po...

Re: Startup error on OSX
I have just updated to 7.0 on my FreeBSD 8.2 machine and am getting the same issue. By using 'host = ::1' in the config I can start SABnzbd and access it locally, but I can not get remote access, which since my server is headless it is pretty much useless at the moment. My hosts file is as basic as ...
